Shotguns take more skill than you think

It's not easy to blink shotgun and go on killstreaks when you're constantly surrounded by the enemy. Also when you get one shotted from max distance the person is ads and pointing it at your head. It's a fair reward.
Most of the people who bitch about it would not do that well. The felwinter is a beast but it's rate of fire is very low so getting multi kills isn't easy. In Iron Banner I'd say it's not even the best shotgun. Other shotguns with the same hammer forged shot package combo can be more effective.
The point being, git gud scrubs
Let me see you use the agility of blink to quickly take out big groups of enemies coming from all angles at once. It takes skill. Not every shotgun guy just blindly runs round corners hip firing hoping for the best. You're just salty
Edit : I made a voidwalker. This is just as 'OP' as blade dancer but no one seems to complain? Watch the video as I collect many tears from all the other classes trying to super me.

The only thing wrong with shotguns is Felwinters Lie because it completely goes against the shotgun range nerf. I've been killed from some absurd ranges that shouldn't even happen.

I have all three classes and I was hesitant continuing on with her, I dreaded it. But I had gotten exotic gear for her while I was using my hunter so reluctantly I continued. Immediately my distaste grew for the class. I could go on about everything wrong with the class but i don't want to waste my time Edit: i love shutting people down as they continue on with this tactic. It's just so satisfying :)

3 RepliesHere's my take on shotguns: A) You're an idiot if you blindly run around a map and die to a shotgun (we know you will run to us) B) Stop running straight at us when you know we have a shotgun C) You see that guy on your radar who isn't moving? Yeah he's got a shotgun! Don't go in unless you can counter it Really isn't that hard to beat out a shotgun user... Either join em or stay away from them and kill them at a distance

I'm ok with a shotgun but I much prefer using my sniper at medium/long range and my hand cannon for close/medium. I'm able to out gun most shot gunners and I'm not even that great

1 ReplySkill or no skill it really does not matter. This guy is good at what he does, kills and wins. If you die a lot from shotguns then do something about it, stop running into a felwinter's wall of pellets and fight at mid and long range.

1 ReplyIt's just all about choosing the right weapon for your encounter. My setup is 3LW + Felwinter's Lie. If I can keep my distance then 3LW absolutely shreds people, however if enemies start to close in, or I need to navigate a tunnel to change positions, why wouldn't I want to have a shotgun with me? As a Warlock I love shotguns. 1 shot + melee ftw.

Can use shotguns properly but has an extremely hard time using precision based weapons I.e. Red death. That was brutal watching you try to aim that thing.
