The Destiny Broken PvP Video Montage
Anyone familiar with Destiny's PvP will recognize a lot the content in this video. Feel free to add any of your own videos about the all too often infuriating "WTF?" moments while playing Destiny. I know that I'm not the only one.

I love how people try to have discussions about kill to death ratio. This game and many other peer-to-peer games heavily favor people with bad connections. There is skill in his game, i'll admit that. Especially when it comes to team play but if you guys are experiencing anything like I'm experiencing, it's really hard to learn what to do and what not to do because things will work in one match that don't work in another. This includes situations that benefit me. It's hard to stay motivated, so I end up dropping it and going back to more cooperative gameplay.

But like the clip of me getting killed through the door on Firebase Delphi could be a legitimate bug. I captured a clip on Blind Watch this morning of the automatic door not opening(adjacent to Zone C), but in this one I fire a rocket into the door and kill the player on the other side.

1 ReplyMost Of Those Are Due To Bad Internet Connection With Yours Or The Players You Are Shooting At. . . The Rest Is Bungie's Servers Going Out Of Whack. I Experienced All Of Those Problems On A Daily Basis. . . Its Reasons Like Those That I Barely, If None At All, Play In Crucible.

Bungie knows the pvp is bullshit. Thats why there are no real leaderboards. 9 out of 10 matches i play, the guys with the highest score ,have a red bar connection. I would wager that most people that think they are beastmode in pvp actually have shit connections to everyone else. I play it for the bounties, so i can level gear and weapons. I dont consider it a real multiplayer game and you shouldn't either. Its a weak version of halo with supers. I love the pve side though. Its repetitive as hell, but the co-op is fun with friends. If people stopped playing the pvp, they might fix it. There's no reason to, if everyone hops on and plays that lagfest pos.

2 RepliesThis is my crucible experience to a "T". Hit the enemy 6,7, 8 times only to be killed in 1 or 2 hits. I try it out once a week to see if it's improved. But I got one hit killed by a suros yesterday.. Hawkmoon kills me in 2 shots every time. Yet when I try it, people live thru 4 sometimes 5 hits.. Don't give me that crap about head shots.. Because I find it hard to believe that every person I run into hits me in the head with every shot every time.

Idk many of your weird missed kills IMHO you ranged wrong. Like the shoulder charge miss, and others. Obviously the lag Is an issue. I think all Destiny players see what you show sometimes, for me it's rare. But fun vid to watch thanks!

I am noticing that a few people are blaming my internet connection. I suggest that these folks go full screen with the video, then pause at each respawn screen to examine my connection quality indicator. You will see on each one that my connection quality is rated Good(green). This isn't some anomaly, or coincidence. I pay extra each month specifically for a 50MB bandwidth connection. My network is wired, and my router NAT setting is Open. I am not trying to insult anyone, but my internet connection shouldn't be the cause of these issues.

You need to wire your connection and stop all the downloading. Edit; BTW I will be first to push for dedicated servers but even those would not help you, in fact they would likely put you at a greater disadvantage.

At least 343 mans up and says its them, but Bungie keeps blaming the users. It is one of the reasons why I stopped playing this "game". My connection is great as the 360/PS3 CoDs always chose me as host (haven't tried any after Blops II) and rarely had a laggy game in Halo 3 or Reach. Yeah Bungie, it is my fault I can't connect to your servers unless I set my Xbone to being DMZ Host, and it still lags. SMH

Might as well scrap PVP and buff all of our weapons for PVE. That would actually make the game more enjoyable. Go crazy with your weapon designs.
