Why are all of you so mad?
First people complain about xur never selling the good stuff but as soon as he does, you get even worse. People claiming they "earned" theirs, people thinking they're entitled to it. Xur is more earning than your rng drops. So why are you so mad? Personally, I'm glad he's selling something different. It's a nice break from the icebreaker and no land beyond

It's hilarious to me, everyone thinks they are the best at the game and know all. Well not everyone, sometimes you'll have a back n forth with a really cool person on here. Usually it's always someone trying to be a badass. The only gripe I had about red death is the flood of use in the crucible with it. My hawk moon and I weren't to put off by it

32 RepliesPeople are mad because they believe noobs will be the majority or only people benefiting from xur selling red death. The fact is a lot of people who have put countless hours into the game finally can own this gun. Others believe it will ruin crucible but after a short time people will go back to using other weapons. People believe RNG = earned. If the loot system reflected skill then maybe it would be earned but because someone who is afk, joins nightfall last minute with zero kills or does horribly on the winning/losing team in crucible can get an exotic drop it isn't earned. It is just luck. Lastly people assume everyone can afford to buy anything and everything xur sells. They forget a lot of people might just have 1 character and probably used their strange coins on what xur sold last week.

I earned my Red Death by jumping in a friends fireteam for nightfall right as it ends, didn't even get a shot off. So yeah, mine is more special than yours, but do I care if others buy it. NO. In a week, everyone will quit whining just like when Ice Breaker was sold.

1 ReplyI think it's the lack of content, ultimately. I think they get the impression that Xur has made their drop less "valuable" because they could have just bought it. These are likely the same people who say "Work smart, not hard." in a video game. They are forgetting that a video game is supposed to be fun (not something you have to be compensated to do), and for some reason they think the items are actually worth something (when they are just video game items that are meaningless int he real world.).
