The number one reason I haven't is that you must have voice communication with the other players for raids, and after playing years of online games, I can't stand listening to most gamers.
I know exactly how harsh that sounds, but it's the truth. Not interested in being screamed at by random players because I zigged when I should have zagged.
Of course, I have PSN friends who are good to chat with, but not enough of them are into Destiny or have the time for raids for me to form a team I could work with.
Now if I can find find other players I find suitable, and who don't think I'm a dick in return (because this goes both ways) then I might do it. But what am I supposed to do, audition people so they meet my standards? Geez, that's not going to go well in any gaming community. Just proposing that would be insulting to most players.
So it boils down to if I knew the other players, I would, but since I don't, I'm not interested in working with strangers.

You're right. I should try it again. Sometimes my cynicism gets the best of me.
