I was worried about elitists too, but my first two raids were with super awesome higher levels that didnt mind bringing a lower level through the raid. I'm looking forward to having 3 raid ready characters so I can raid more often. Still need to learn more about Gorgon Maze, thats the only part I've ever gotten yelled at over. I've gotten lost, but never spotted.

I've only ever had one guy that got mad at me for dropping the relic on VOG which was funny because I didn't even have it everyone else told him to shut up. You're always going to get that one person who hates on people but 95% of the time you get a good group everyone is really helpful

It's funny u say that man I can tell u I was the same way. Don't sweat it. The truth is there are a ton of people with that same anti elitist mindset. Most of the time when I get groups on lfg it's very very rare for me to get grouped with some whiny little try hard. Reading these forums you'd have the impression every other group you join will have some condescending JERK judging your every move but the truth is these forums represent such a tiny fraction of the active player base it's nearly irrelevant. Most people don't have the let me smack you with my epeen type of attitude you see on display here most of the time. (not saying everyone on these forums have that mindset but some do) What in trying to say that o you is don't let the fear of being grouped with some Jerk deter you from enjoying the best the game had to offer. Chances are slim ( at least in my case) you'd be grouped with someone like that. And if you are? Just leave. You have no obligation to stay with people that are mean or annoying or whatever. Leaving and finding another group is incredibly easy. I'm on ps4 shoot me a pm and I'd be happy to provide you with my psn and we can run both crota and the VOG. I have 3 32's and would be happy to take you through your first raids.

I have [b]never[/b] met one of the forum elitists in a raid. Everyone is nice and I honestly think the forum elitist are a myth. Btw I have done Crota 18 times and VoG 14 so I have done 32 raids with all nice people. Also I have done lots of nightfalls with randomers and they were all nice.
