There's one way to solo the first part (well there's actually two but this ones quicker) you go up to the vault (giant ringed door) and go to the side of it with your sparrow you will see a little gap in the door because of designs flaws ram your sparrow into the little gap and then get off and your inside the vault (and yes the rest of the raid will work I've done it before)

I posted on this-- this is essentially what I did. Thanks. I could only get to the 2nd gate, saw no Vex anywhere, and could not go beyond the 2nd gate-- as it had not gaps around the edge that I could wedge into. But the cave system is GORGEOUS.
