Kabr The Legionless theory
This is my own personal theory so dont go crazy to how illogical it may sound
So we all know Kabr opened the vault by himself, but he stated that the vault cannot be opened by yourself, and we all know that the Vault is a Distortion in time, and the vex from the past and present gather here. That line there literally answers itself. Kabr was never alone because he found himself in the distortion of time. "No one can open the Vault alone. I opened the Vault. There was no one with me but I was not alone." , to me this literally screams that he had a legion, a legion comprised of himself.
This is my very first post on the forums so please dont chew me up

On the final fight with atheon you are teleported to two places... In different times... And then you come back to the present... Three different time threads, three different pads to open the vault? Illuminati confirmed?

2 RepliesIf you read carefully, Kabr opened the vault with a fireteam but he was most likely alone in spirit, he was isolated from the rest of the group during the raid because he was disliked

2 RepliesThere is a picture on the destiny website( it looked like an older alpha-era screenshot) but it shows three guardians on Venus. On was most definitely Kabr because he was wearing the armor. The hunter, I'm assuming Dregon Yor because he had a hand cannon. And the wizard was probably Toland because he had a paulse rifle. Just throwing this out there.

I like to think the vault is secluded in time itself and Kabr had both past, future and present Guardians aiding him, he could not see them but he could feel their light as he fought through the vault alongside them, Ghost even mentions that the Gate Lords keep some realms locked out of time so Atheon could be doing that with the Vault, when he fought Kabr he was fighting countless Guardians at the same time in different times. Not really a Theory I just like to imagine that is whats going on

It means that, he knows you cannot enter the vault alone, therefore he knows he must not have been alone, yet he was alone, as the others were erased from time.
