I actually prefer inferno and do much better than regular control. I played with a few people in my clan and they all complained about there being no radar and blamed that on why they were doing bad. The ones that dont like it are the ones that rely on the radar too much.

How can you rely on radar too much? If you aren't using it in crucible you will get destroyed. Learning how to read radar and interpret it is the main skill in crucible besides precision shooting.

I never said it wasn't an important part of crucible or learning to read it and use it was useless. I think the radar is a crutch to some and not to others, which is basically what the guys i played with over the weekend confirmed. People complain about campers in inferno, but I run into more campers in regular control than inferno. All you have to do in inferno is not play it like its cod and rush all over the map like its team death match. Take your time and actually look around and check rooms and corners instead of just rushing around a corner or through a door going " oh look, a red blip on the radar, im gonna rush over there. There's another one gonna rush over there" This is all my opinion and thats all. Play the way youre comfortable playing. I dont like relying on one piece of equipment, the radar in this case, to be decent at crucible or anything else in the game or i suck and constantly die. I didnt say good at crucible because im not good, im decent and i do better with out the radar. I do far worse in regular control with the radar so you saying " you will get destroyed" with out it is wrong, for my play style anyways. The radar may fit your play style and thats fine, but don't assume that everyone plays the same as you do and have to have the radar present to be any good. Thats what relying on the radar to much means.

If you play normal control and block out your radar you will get pwnd by good players using their radar. It is not a crutch, it is part of the game. Not using it to its fullest extent is handicapping yourself and your team. Personally, I hate pvp games with no radar and refuse to play cod/battlefield because of this. I love halo and destiny due to the radar and long ttk that favor precision shooting. Inferno just defeats the entire purpose of destiny pvp. If you want no radar, you really should be playing a different game.

I will agree with you that not using it to its fullest extent is a hindrance, to me and my team. I understand that. The rest was just your opinion, which is also fine. Everyone is entitled to it. I could just as easily say, if you have to have a radar to play pvp, you really should be playing a different game. It can go both ways is what im saying. Im not hating on you or anyone else that needs the radar to be competitive in PvP. That's your play style and thats fine, no hate or disrespect to you or them. But again, youre assuming that you have to have a radar to be competitive in PvP, which is a false assumption, in my case anyway and im sure others are the same as me. I do way worse and encounter way more campers in vanilla control than in inferno. Play the way that suits you the best but remember that not everyone gets destroyed if they dont have a radar.
