Thorn = crutch.
Only noobs use it because they can't finish somebody off right, instead they shoot twice and run.

It think TLW is more noob friendly than the thorn. To be good with the thorn you to be methodical with your shots. The thorn rewards accurate players, 2 shot plus dot kills but those kills take extra time to kill and don't happen that often. I can probably count the number of times I've been killed by thorns dot on my fingers. This weapon shines when you are hitting headshots consistently just like any other primary weapon in the game. I'm just curious, what are your go to primaries?

I have to agree with fragz in this one and this is coming from a thorn user. Its fun to use sometimes but its a crutch. Requires the least amount of skill. The dot does the killing for you.

It takes less skill to use a gjallarhorn than thorn, gjallarhorn is also more of a 'crutch'. Yet nobody would stop using it for those reasons in pve. Your argument makes no sense, you obviously just get killed by thorn a lot.

Not really. That's why I have a 2.30 kd, I'm top 5 percent in the world and I beat Bungies dream team. I always shit on people who use a thorn but it's just annoying. Second of all nobody is talking about PvE I don't even know why you would bring that up it has nothing to do with this. Do you hear crota complaining about the Gjallarhorn? No you don't so stop bringing it up you moron. You can't compare them. We're talking about pvp not pve. So therfore your argument is invalid.

When we're talking about guns being 'over powered' based on the task they're performing you can 100% compare pvp and pve. Just because 'crota can't complain' doesn't mean the gun isn't 'too strong'. Also, just because you're good at pvp doesn't mean you don't often get killed by thorn or that your opinion on the matter is anymore important than someone who is average. If anything it just makes you sound like more of an asshole. A gun is only powerful if it's user is capable of using it. Thorn doesn't auto fire at your head, the player shoots you. Get over your elitism and remove your head from your ass and you'll be fine.

Not for a good player... For an avg or below avg player it wouldn't be easy. Also there are plenty of guns that kill in 2 headshots and are no harder to accomplish than with thorn so your point is completely invalid. Hawkmoon can 1 Shot if you're lucky... Even red death can 2 shot to the head now.

First of all hawkmoon is irrelevant because I don't play on ps4. And red death has a slow rate of fire.

Well here are 4 legendary guns that hit harder than Thorn and can kill with 2 head shots without burn damage. And considering the only difference between Legendary and rare guns are the amount of perks and damage, there are plenty of Rare guns capable of the same. Basically there are quite a few HCs that can put you down in 2 head shots. Those were just 2 examples, also some guns have to be better than others otherwise what's the point? I wasn't saying it isn't great I'm saying it's not 'op' and you're very wrong saying anybody can use it. Shotguns and fusions are 1 shots as well? But yeah, I'm pretty certain you thought 1 head 1 body with burn was enough to kill and won't admit you didn't know that's wrong.
