make shotguns NOT oneshot kill in PVP
Hey, guys!
I think shotguns must be changed in PVP somehow - run'n'gun(or even better - blinkin'n'gun)trolls are getting annoying. I think Destiny is shooter - but some players dont rely on shooting at all. Even on midrange they try to run on you and kill with they brand new Felwinter.
it may be worth to change a full concept of shotgun - more range and ROF, less impact...

2 RepliesThere is absolutely nothing wrong with shotgun range. The only problem with them is blink! Crossing 20 yards in an instant is -blam!-ing retarded! It forces everyone to carry a shotgun because that's the only defence against blink/shotgun. If anyone besides a blink/shotgun net rushes 20 yards at you and then shotguns you, then you need to learn how to aim.

Are you new to the fps genre? Shotguns have always been one shots in PvP! Learn the maps, watch your radar, and check your corners. Crouching doesn't even take you completely off the radar, so camping isn't even that effective. If you're getting killed so much by shotguns, then it's no one's fault but your own.

Balancing this game has been difficult to say the least with Bungie, Blink is one of the reasons people run around maining shotguns, because if they're red bar and blinking it's really hard to hit them

4 RepliesAll snipers are 2 shots unless you land one in the head, so why should a shotgun one hit? A sniper rifle would absolutely [b]destroy[/b] you if you got shot in the upper body in real life.

I suggest you stay farther away from enemies and change your strategy if you don't like it. Also, destiny isn't just a shooter, it's a shooter that makes you think due to the various abilities of the different classes and weapons. This isn't cod, nor should it be treated like just another first person shooter. Use your head, it's there to help you think outside the box and actually use a strategy versus just running around and shooting.
