Should raid bounties be a thing?

I think there should be raid bounties. For VoG you'd pick 'em up from the vanguard mentors, and for CE, you'd pick 'em up from eris. Some ideas are: -as a fireteam, create 100 orbs of light in a single raid. -kill atheon/crota in normal/hard mode -complete a raid checkpoint without dying -as a fireteam, have all guardians complete checkpoint X without dying. -complete checkpoint X in under X amount of time. -kill the templar without him teleporting/kill the deathsinger before she begins her liturgy -kill atheon/crota in less than X sword/teleport cycles Feel free to leave ideas in the comments! Edit: since these bounties would be for raids, they'd be worth more more XP and rep than the other bounties Edit 2: some people have brought up good points about players going out of their way to complete bounties therefore possibly hurting the team. I can see how that would be a problem so perhaps the bounties could be things that wouldnt require you to 'go out of your way' to get or grind for... Edit 3: People are putting out some really good ideas! Keep it up. Shoutout to lickwid elite for his/her awesome contribution to the thread. Keep it trending guardians! Edit 4: i changed some of the ideas above to fit what a lot you guardians have been suggesting. Edit 5: i'm impressed, guardians. This thread has been resurrected once more.   • I like the concept, but it would definitely need to be fleshed out. 1. Due to the nature of the raids, it would be interesting to see if they could somehow make them fire team bounties instead of individual bounties. Maybe instead of picking up bounties, when you start a new instance of a raid for the week the fire team is randomly assigned bounties that they get if they complete the objectives (forcing everyone to work towards them). Not sure how this would work for raid saves, altered fire teams, etc. but I think doing something like this could be very cool. Maybe one bounty per encounter per raid save? Complete the encounter meeting X criteria and gain a bounty to turn in? REALLY like this idea. 2. The bounties would need to be developed in such a way that they don't potentially hurt game play. Weapon bounties would be out, but precision kill bounties or ones that require not dying could be in. 3. I think they would need to be picked up somewhere else. You don't want them to take potential bounties away from people not raiding (such as if Eris offered them). 4. Bungie could leverage some to try and get people to stop cheesing (activate all lights in the abyss, get all members across bridge, etc.).
