Edited by Tibbaryllis2: 3/7/2015 4:29:53 PMBy that pie chart anything not Tower, patrol stories, or strikes is dead. Or, in other words, the four places you're likely to AFK.

Thanks guys!!

Is it just me who sees the time spent in raids as less than that in PVP? Are raids dead too? I'd guess that this was from near the start of the game, as 20% of time was spent in story missions; at max people only do one per day once they have hit level 20, so this was when people were just starting playing, or from just after Christmas with all the Christmas noobs.
-
Yeah the lack of raiding is probably more due to no matchmaking and the level of skill needed.
-
How is 15% dead? Lol

garbage link...I got ten viruses and HIV from it....

Edited by My Snow Dragon: 3/6/2015 12:08:08 AMThis is why they are failing to make Destiny truly great: Bungie is missing the point players are trying to make and they are making their point very clearly with their play time in that pie chart. Not that many people play PVP so they should stop putting so much effort into it. It doesn't make sense since the vast majority of players are in PVE and an obvious majority didn't buy this game for the PVP game play. Newsflash Bungie; this ISN'T COD. If a consumer wanted to be a PVP god, they bought COD or some other PVP game. If Bungie wants to get into PVP, they need to create their own version of COD and downsize that (seemly) huge Destiny PVP (Crucible) team. Its obviously derp heavy anyway. (For god's sake, buffing shotguns? Seriously?) Bungie needs to concentrate on making the experiences in PVE, where 85% of play time occurs, better. Add the content everyone is begging for. Fix the bugs they are screaming about. LISTEN to the players and PAY ATTENTION to the numbers. I'm not saying don't fix or improve the Crucible, just stop concentrating so much time on it. I would GLADLY trade you a crappy 15% of my Crucible playtime for a better, richer PVE experience and more content. In a heartbeat. Deal. No complaints. So much potential for an epic game here Bungie, don't screw it up. If you do, you will inadvertently create a whole new household catchphrase for f*ck ups; "Don't Bungie it."

As usual you guys all have good input and varying view points. Thanks for the input and feedback! I'll do a video end of next week about this and all the feedback I'm getting.

Deej tell whoever it concerns you can hire me, I'll sort out your PvP, if your willing to actually do something and spend some money/man hours. Create a battle arena, like Monday Night Combat, that ones free.

Bungie's been lying since day 1. Go to reddit and look up Megamanexe4. Everything that's random is planned out ahead And controlled by bungie. I'm glad I'm graduating this semester. I can go work in their PR department.

Bump... Pvp sucks

I'm not that into PvP in destiny but I think it needs PvP game modes, it can be a good change of pace from time to time.
