Was it because you thought they looked cool or heard about the awesome supers?

I usually never pick a mage or tank as a character when the option for an assassin is available but i played the heck out of a hunter in the beta and i wasnt a huge fan and i heard about the Warlock having an awesome super so i chose the lock and i loved it. Now i love both equally but i stick up for Warlocks in any argument

I thought the Hunter took the most skill. Turns out I was right.

I always pick the least overpowered character. I did the same on Dragon Age, which I started playing around the same time. Self res, defender shields, extra life bars with Titan and warlock melee. I wasn't feeling in the mood at the time, but I've grown to love warlocks just as much as hunters. Titans are the ones I dislike.

Looked cool and fit my play style
-
I wanted to play a melee class and seeing as blade dancer was looking to be one, I chose it.
-
It wasn't. It was a Titan. Now it is my lowest lvl character. My warlock was second and is 32 and my hunter will be 32 when I get some more shards. Titan is still 28 :/

Because they remind me of a rouge and rouges are my favorite class. Rather it be D&D, Pathfinder, Dragon age, or skyrim I love stealthy characters
-
I liked the cape that was my only reason in the beta and I stuck with it
-
Because they saw the spandex pants and flamer cape
-
I really appeal to the stealth aspect of games, and the hunter is the only class that depicts anything stealthy, so i went for it and i love it :D
-
I always play rogues, and Hunters best fit that style.
-
I just kind of liked the style and idea of the hunter so I went with it first. Now that I have all 3 classes leveled up and definitely enjoy them all, hunter is still my clear favorite. I actually prefer the jump and after playing on hunter for an extended time then switching to my other characters, I feel like I'm wading through molasses for a few until I acclimate due to the hunter's fluidity of movement.
-
I love sniping, so the Hunter sounded perfect for me. "A lone wolf that lives for the perfect shot". I'm also a huge Assassin's Creed fan, so the "hood" really appealed to me.
-
Because the charecter model looked cool, glad i did, hunters still my favorite class
-
Rogue type that's all I need.
-
Gunslinger was the most similar to other fps games, felt it was a good transition into Destiny
-
I googled each class and spent about 30 minutes deciding. Went with hunter cuz it said throwing knife, golden gun, invisibility and built for speed. That just screamed my name. Still my favorite after every character at 32. # huntermasterrace

They're kick ass bro
-
I like rogue type characters and hunters look to me like them and they are stealthy like them
-
Supernatural
-
The Cloaks, so cool...
-
The gunslinger description did it for me "lives for the perfect shot". Just awesome. No ragrets.
-
No matter what game I play I always prefer glass-cannons, even though it feels like we mostly get the glass part
-
I didn't know anything about Destiny when I got it, I only picked Hunter because of the knife
