It's the very first kill in the match, youre welcome to watch the whole thing though, as i get a SOAT medal in the end with my scumbag shotgun warlock setup

Edited by ZerogaK: 3/18/2015 11:05:47 AMThe Hawkmoon has 13 Bullets. Therefore, we can assume that every bullet has a 1/13 chance of getting a damage boost. Considering that the position of every Damage Boost in the magazine is independent from one another, we can calculate what is the chance that they will end up in the same Bullet like this: 1/13 x 1/13 x 1/13 Which gives us: 1/2197 In other words, there is a "One in Two thousand one hundred and ninety seven chance" that this could happen. This division transformed into a percentage gives us: 0,045 Which means that you have a 0,045% Chance of this happening in your first shot. Edit: "Feeling lucky, punk?"

And that's why I don't want hawkmoon on xbone
-
It happend to me 2 times and I'm not using it for that long: 228 dmg to the head
-
The odds of all the damage stacking on the first bullet is around .2-.3%
-
Ive had it happen a few times. Godmoon knows when you are about to die and it unleashes its fury.

I just got one yesterday, last exotic i needed. Can't wait to level it up and shoot things
-
I heard the extra damage can stack on one bullet.

Edited by swiftmoney09: 3/4/2015 7:43:21 PMIt's actually about a 2.9% chance. There are 455 permutations possible so the answer is 13/455. The odds of each bullet being the one is of course different but that is overall.

Iirc, it is a 1 in 2000 chance.

Xbone. :'(

Edited by THEUNDEAD565: 3/4/2015 5:36:43 AMwell, I would assume it's a 1/13 * 1/13 * 1/13 chance for that to happen, because all the procs need to be on the same bullet. Edit: The exact chance of being able to 1 hit somebody is 1/2197 per shot, and that's assuming you hit that person in the head when that chance decides to proc.

Personally I feel like it's not even three bullets in the magazine, I think they just slacked and made it a percentage chance kinda deal, before my good controller broke I would land at Least 8\13 headshots in the crucible and it honestly felt like sometimes I would have 4+ lucky bullets or sometimes none, I recall getting headshots that dealt around 360-450. I could be absolutely be wrong but that's just how it seemed to be for me.
-
Hey dude so how is the range on your melee so big? I play as a warlock and I never hit players that far away. Please explain
-
Pct chance is 1:13^3 = 1:169*13 = 1:2,197
-
That ones going into my Montage ;)
-
Edited by tarallodactyl: 3/4/2015 4:57:27 AMIt's absurdly low. This has happened with me only twice since getting the weapon in October.
-
Dear god.
-
I saw someone go through the probability once, and it is very, very, very low. Don't remember the exact numbers, though.
-
There was a chart explaining the probability of this, basically, don't ever expect this to ever happen to you again for the rest of your life

Why was one thread not enough for this inane question?
