Not good ... most reports have been around missing gear, not whole characters. Sadly those reports of characters going missing have resulted in bungie blaming the gamer for deleting them. Not sure how that is even possible, to make a mistake to that degree ... either way good luck. May be best to search through the forums for a post related to the app, and from there send a message to any mod/bungie poerson who responded. Good luck ... and post back if you find a way, may help the next gamer.

Only reports I have seen talk about it returning within 5 minutes ... well past your current timeframe. Perhaps join forces with the gamer above ([b]BirddFluu[/b]) and save a bit of time? Sorry not much hope ... but always a chance. May be best not to play or use the app in the mean time (other than to check) as earning more gear/transfers may mess up past links.

It's possible a weapon transferred through the app or Web vault system could turn up on one of your characters after a bit of time as people have reported this happening but there are more out there that have lost weapons and they haven't come back so the best thing to do right now is not use it to transfer anything important like exotic weapons, only materials and that sort of thing
