Should Exotics have elemental damage?
What do you all think? I am a little pissed that these weapons drop so rarely (except the no land beyond for some reason, I'm on number 9) and they aren't really that special. Primaries with elements are reserved for raid weapons currently but they aren't as treasured as Exotics. This change would really only affect PvE given that elements don't apply in PvP. The list That pops up immediately in my head would be as follows
Universal Remote - Arc
No land beyond - solar
Hard light - arc
Red death - solar
Mida- Void
Suros - Arc
Etc. Add your thoughts below or exotic element wishes. Or if you think it's a dumb idea and I should slap myself.

1 ReplyNo they shouldn't, the design and extremely situational perks are what makes them an exotic. How much easier do you want to make the game people? Now a little of topic I think what they need to do is close the gap between the exotics example the No land Beyond needs better perks to be as close to useful as an icebreaker

9 RepliesEh. Raid weapons have elements. Plus I'm not really sold on exotic weapons. Other than Icebreaker, P&T, Mida, Vex, and Truth I'd almost always rather use a good legendary replacement...especially a raid weapon. This is my opinion on the best of each type of gun and a suitable Legendary replacement. Handcannon - Fatebringer or Hawkmoon Pulse Rifle - Oversoul Edict or Bad Juju Autorifle - Atheon's Epilogue or Hard Light Scout Rifle - Vision of Confluence or Mida (or anything with scout and Firefly perks) Void Sniper - Praedyth's Revenge Arc Sniper - LDR 5001 or Patience & Time Solar Sniper - Black Hammer or Icebreaker Void Fusion Rifle - Plug-1 Arc Fusion Rifle - Murmur Solar Fusion Rifle - Murmur Don't care about shotguns Void Rocket Launcher - Truth Arc Rocket Launcher - Do they exist? Solar Rocket Launcher - Gyallarhorn or Hunger of Crota Void Machine gun - Corrective Measures Arc Machine gun - Song of Ir Yut or Thunderlord Solar Machine gun - Do they exist?

No land beyond needs brown note power. The -blam!-ing things shittyness would become it's biggest strength.
