CALL OF DUTY falls farther BEHIND
In other related news, the latest CoD clone is falling off the front page of Twitch as Destiny pushes farther ahead. I"m glad to see that these "re-skins" aren't doing well. I used to be a big fan of the CoD franchise but now I can't stand to play another second. It's refreshing to see people wise up.
*all the Twitch hate, look i'm not saying it's a great site. I'm saying it's a good way to determine what is being played the most

Good. I used to be a huge cod fan but IMO they got away from what made the series great. While nobody in their right mind would think a video game would be "realistic" when it comes to war, CoD used to make an excellent game where you just played as a soldier. Nothing more, nothing less. AW will be the death of this series IMO. Jet packs are just not a good addition to the series and it is geared more than ever away from tactical gameplay (online) and now caters to the lone smg carrier that uses the hundreds of back alleys to run around and mow someone down from behind. Gone are the days of team defender, where the team who used better strategy and teamwork would win 90% of time time. IMO destiny will be the kill shot on a dying franchise.

8 RepliesFunny how you call it a clone but most games out now are "clones" of the series. CoD isn't bad; MW is bad. MW 1/2/3 were the worst CoD games.

Well you see the thing is, no matter how bad are annoying cod is, everyone will still buy it and play it. It won't die to a game like destiny considering the pvp aspect isn't all that good. They thought this game, battlefield, titanfall and many other games would be better but no it won't happen cod is just to strong.

42 RepliesWhy on earth people would sit and watch other people play games for hours is beyond me, granted I understand watching some footage on youtube for a part your stuck at or even a preview but kids are just sitting there watching other people play games it's baffling. Then again, I'm 32 so maybe I'm getting old.

The exosuit movement really shook things up and the game doesn't feel stale anymore. Also the multiplayer is better than the broken mess we call The Crucible. The developers don't pointlessly nerf things despite the outcries of the community demanding otherwise. But I'm not here to bash Bungie/Destiny or defend CoD because guess what? Activision published both Destiny & CoD. So that means they won either way. If you bought one or both games, they got your money and don't give a damn about you now. I personally think Activision is the worst publisher in the gaming industry but I got Destiny because I was a Halo/Bungie fan. I really wish my money had gone anywhere other than to Activision, but it did and what's done is done.

4 RepliesA World War II Call of Duty without all the fancy garbage like 45 different killstreaks would really do the Franchise some good. This Modern/Futuristic phase has gone to far in my opinion. I used to be an avid Call of Duty player, 25-30 days of playing time on each one to show for it, but something with Ghosts made me lose interest...
