You survived the thorn bounty but the barbs cast at you by those unskilled enough to claim this weapon bothers you? Wield the Thorn with pride and care not for the opinions of the weak.

Amen, toughest bounty to finish. Most badass looking gun in the game. Use it. It's not unbeatable. Hawkmoon in my opinion destroys it. I wish it had a slightly deeper and harder sound. But I use it on my hunter with revenant shader all the time. Just makes sense.

You do realize that probably half the Thorn users "cheesed" the bounty? There is an entire thread on here with tons of scrubs running teams together where they kill each other to complete it. Same with a few other forums. Same goes for Vex owners, a good chunk of them "cheesed" Atheon.

That's really sad... Can't speak for the "gotta cheat to compete" crowd. The crucible part was a little bit of a challenge for me because I'm not the best at crucible anyway. I found the last part more tedious solo. Having said all of that, I believe this bounty to be the most challenging and will use my Thorn whenever and wherever I please.

Same here. I refused to cheese it. I earned mine by doing TONS of PvP because I sucked and the bounty took forever.

Definitely sucks. I refuse to cheese anything that is in my power. The one exception is the crota bridge, and that is only because I so rarely find a team that is willing to do it legit. I hate it, but I hope to find a regular crew to run the raids with sooner or later.
