Having loadout gets rid of having to pause the screen and change gear.
Never going to happen.

That's why I suggested locking the ability of selecting a load out shortly after the game had started. It would only be selectable during orbiting or ten seconds in.

Changing during orbit? You can just change gear no problem in orbit. Your idea is pointless.

I guess you're right, it's pointless to suggest a minor tweak to make something like switching your primary gun, secondary gun, gauntlets, chest piece, boots and the spec of your guardian's talent tree to match a preferred play style for a particular map easier and more manageable for you…clearly the 10 seconds you have to do so when you learn what map you're about to play is pleanty of time to do all that. What was I thinking?
