Agreed. In addition, it seems as if the heavy drops have fallen off on patrol. For instance, I land on the moon and take out all the Fallen to the right of landing. Before the fix, I would get an average of 2 heavy weapon drops (one from each group fo Fallen). Now I have to wipe out 4-5 groups before getting a heavy ammo drop. As for fixing the ammo situation, it seems to me that it would be easy to do ammo as a percentage of the weapon's max. I.e. a rocket launcher that maxes at 5 has 4 left (80%); switch to a machine gun with a max of 80 rounds, you should have 64 rounds left. Fire 12 and switch back you should have 3 rockets left (3.25 round down). The max/added ammo perks should just raise the maximum number calculated for the weapon.

  • I agree that heavy drops seem lighter. ;-) It seems like heavy drops ramp up in a location a few minutes prior to a public event. It used to be that if I was in an area about 5 minutes prior to the event I would wind up with maxed heavy ammo with several lying around when the event occurred. Lately it seems like I don't even make max ammo.

  • Update: The lighter heavy drops (heh) seems to have been a temporary pattern of the RNG. They seem to be back to normal.
