Weekly reset should be removed?
Destiny weekly reset should be removed. Players should be able to play as much as they want without waiting for weekly reset right???? So we can get multiple chances getting exotics...etc
I don't see any other game doing it. Especially Diablo 3 in rift or greater rift etc.
We paid for the game and we should be able to play when ever and how much we want. Without any restrictions.
*** Before you vote and input comments ask your self if someone is new to Destiny community, how long they have to play to get everything? Why???
To all the haters... I got most of everything and 3 characters are all 32's. I don't need anything. Just trying to help guys starting new.
Destiny is just another game to me. No big deal.

1 ReplyLots of other games have weekly and daily limits. If the weekly limit didn't exist, I would've been 32 on day 1 of the DLC with how easy you can solo the first 2 parts of the CE raid. I'd have every exotic months ago when the nightfall was Nexus with Solar Burn. Nothing of danger used solar. I rammed through that strike multiple times.

They should have a WoW like system. They could have much much longer and harder raids, then let us do them as many times as we would like.

2 RepliesLol you realize nightfall is a guaranteed legendary drop right, and it only takes like 15 minutes to complete. You're suggesting that people should be able to just run nightfall over and over again and get a legendary or exotic drop every time? If I have to explain why that's ridiculous than I have no hope for you

That is part of the grind my friend. And is why 98% of players still play the game, to get weapons they don't have. If we could do VOG any time we want people would have every weapon and every exotic in the game in under 2 months. On the other hand if you have a better game like warframe you grind whenever you want but the chances of what you get in 1 area is super rare and so is the key you used to get there. GG warframe wins again.

I think there is a reason half the main events are called "weekly nightfall" and "weekly heroic" since they are kind of a once a week thing -.- if we were able to run nightfalls and heroics people would easily have every single exotic in less than a month just farming the hell out of them. People would be raiding day in and day out and we would have max level characters day one of each DLC. It's a good thing they have each event giving rewards once a week so players can focus on bounties, PVP, roc strikes and so on at their own leisurely pace. I doubt I'd still be playing destiny if a week after game came out I could've had 3 level 30 characters or 3 level 32's the day crotas end came out.

The weekly reset is there to keep people from burning through is game in weeks instead of months. Same for the marks cap.

If Coins were to be removed after the first completion, then sure. They could have it award similarly to a Vanguard Roc.

I think they should mix up the days it could be like a Sunday one week or a Tuesday. I like a surprise.

I think instead of a having to wait a week make it like every 3 days or something like that, for a lot of players that have there 32s already there's not a whole lot of interest left except for that 1 day of the week, that would keep them more active I think

Reason why not? Spamming drops. How many people would spam the VoG exotic chest? Crota normal? Nightfalls? You know how people could spam a little cave cause it was so efficient for getting mats/xp/legendary engram's? Remember how out of control that was? Remember how bungie got rid of that? In hours I'm sure you could get everything you ever wanted (gear, mats, exotics, marks) I personally kind of agree about the weekly reset thing, but they would have to go about it in a very specific way (like allowing some things to keep earning rewards, but not others), otherwise it would break the game.

Not to mention you could easily have infinite radiant mats by just going in and grabbing the first chest in the abyss over and over again
