No Land Beyond: Thoughts. Problems.

So... The No Land Beyond. Everyone who's used it, and most who haven't know it has problems. Serious problems that need fixing. Primary weapons are supposed to be able to take car of most enemies with relative speed. They should also be able to handle most of the fighting in a mission. No Land Beyond cannot do this, due to two major flaws: 1. The rate of fire is pathetic. Due to the bolt action, you can only fire a round every second or so, so handling larger groups becomes slow, and laborious, and if you miss a shot, it only takes longer. I play another game called Warframe, and the bolt action rifle in that can be (What's the word?) cocked much faster than No Land Beyond, fast enough to take down larger groups than are encountered in destiny. The cocking speed should be increased (and therefore the ROF), so it can handle any size of group at a rate more in line with other primaries. 2. The ammo capacity is bad (and bugged). When you start a mission, or respawn, you have 18 ammo in reserve. When that's used up you can only get back to 6 in reserve (12 total). How are you supposed to take out groups with this primary, when you only have 12 shots, especially considering it's a sniper rifle, so you'll be staying away from ammo drops until combat is over. Talking about ammo drops, you only get 3 or 4 ammo per drop. Considering how few ammo drops drop, running out of ammo is inevitable. The reserve ammo should be buffed to 24 (for 30 total) and should be regainable. The ammo per drop should be increased to around 6. Finally, another slightly lesser issue is it's scope. The iron sights are bulky, and get in the way of a lot of where you're aiming. This makes target tracking an issue, and makes it harder to actually get headshots off after you've finally cocked the weapon. The sight should be altered to remove this issue (maybe remove the top to be more like a musket?). I also had an idea to alter the first perk (mulligan), and replace it with a new one called rewind. If you miss, there's a high chance that the round will return to the chamber i.e. no cocking required if you miss and this activates. This would also slightly help ammo issues. This concludes my review of the No Land Beyond. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below. I would like to make a request to Bungie that this weapon be buffed (not necessarily how I've described, but solving those problems). EDIT: If you agree with this, just give it an upvote to let bungie know how we feel about this gun.
