In relation to topics asking to keep old gear relevant. One solution that would be nice for any equipment is an option to "fuse" a raid drop to another piece to increase it's light level. I mean you loot a pair of gloves light level 36 then could you "fuse" it to another pair of gloves ( just reserved to raid gear). The process would destroy the raid drop and the upgraded gear would have to be leveled again but would be light level 36 in the end. This would mean you still have to do the new content to have drops before converting old gear to the new light level. And you would have more variety in the end in looks for guardians.
