I 100% agree with you that quitting makes a person "a shit teammate and a bitch"... 100%. Thats why up until now I never quit matches, even if it was a total blowout. But Im sick of it, my time is precious and gaming is a chance to have fun. Its no fun playing something broken. If you have been playing Iron Banner then you know how often Blind Watch is selected. after something like 5 Blind watches in a row, 4 on Point A, I got sick and tired of doing it. Thats an hour of my life wasted on frustrating idiots. Yesterday I played with a fire team of 6 and we all immediately agreed "A" was a stupid thing to do so we ignored it and had a good match and a lot of fun. With randoms though, there are too many idiots. You are right though, I totally agree... but its just gotten that bad. Bungie can fix this to avoid the problem. probably 3/4 decent crucible players agree its broken, and thats a lot. In any case, I played an awesome map the other day on control (there was this rotating central platform) and it was the only time I have seen it. Put that in the friggin map rotation at least so that you only rarely have to suffer through idiots at A. YARGGHH... so much venting. Its supposed to be my fun time! :D I don't actually take it this seriously, but I did quit that match and I probably will continue to do so. I am the gamer gandhi.
