STOP PUTING ME ON THE LOSING TEAM IN IRON BANNER
Honestly what the heck is wrong with the idiotic pvp matchmaking system. 2/5 games I play while lone wolfing iron banner matches me into a game already in progress often to be destroyed by a barrage of supers and heavy ammo.
It's infuriating. No I'm not playing with a party right now, I'd love to get put in a normal game that starts from the beginning....
[b]Edit (2/20/15)[/b]: Some of you lack context comprehension, I'm not complaining about losing in iron banner, I end up winning some of the matches I'm dropped into despite the score deficit, it just means I'm punished with extra work to carry a team already tanking and it happens continually...why... I'm not a babysitter I do not wish to backpack teams against slim odds...no one does, especially in Iron Banner where wins mean something significant.
[b]EDIT: THIS POST IS FROM MONTHS AGO (created before months before patch, though its issue still applies.) if you view my game stats from the time of posting over 4 months ago, I certainly was carrying players while lone wolfing. Lastly recently I have been playing with a party, games are currently laggy as hell and full of Felwinter's/thorn, can't say I'm a fan, but God am I thankful to have a party this iron banner.[/b]

Joined match mid way down 4K points and toughed it out until end. STAYED in queue and was put in ANOTHER LOSING MATCH IN PROGRESS. FIX THIS BS!!!

I know, it's annoying, but if there weren't so many bad players playing iron banner then people wouldn't leave, I've just got my 5th medallion of iron after being the only positive player on my team 5 games in a row.

Edited by Cinis: 4/30/2015 8:37:46 PMIt's pretty rough... I've joined games where teams are down by a couple or few thousand, and helped get it together for a win(side note; capture zones guys-_-) . However, when you spawn in down 8k, and find they grabbed both heavies, and are orb farming for each other. PEACE. It's an unfortunate, but unavoidable part of the game. One possible way to mitigate the issue is have a 15 min cool down before you can join another game of crucible after quitting.

1 ReplyMy favorite is when this happens and the game spawns me right into where an enemy is camping. My feet don't even hit the ground before I'm dead..... ahhhh good times in hell!

There should be a point or time lockout. at past 4-5 mins, or 10000 points in the lead, people should be locked in AND out. I'm also tired of being dropped into a game that's basically over. & it's always at it's WORST in IB

Dude this happens to me all the time! Lol. Although last night it did put me on the winning team who was up by like 3000 so I was ok with that.

Yeah it def sucks cause the matchmaking is done by skill meaning if you're really good then to balance your skill out against another team they're gonna give you shitbags. Luckily ToO will be match made by connectivity

Usually the losing team has less players because that team started getting beat and someone left, so you are then put into that spot. Simple really, it's annoying i know but if you don't like it just go to orbit and start over.

The game fills the teams that are already in need of members first. Then they form new ones. Pretty basic shit

Sure there are plenty of times where I do very well in Iron Banner, but SO many times I keep getting put on a losing team and just can't recover. It gets really annoying, especially when it happens multiple times in a row...

It can be you or anyone else matchmaking at the time. It happened to me plenty the last time I played IB. You're not so special the game should only match you into winning teams. Just gotta deal with it man.
