Sword-wielding warlocks in Crota HM
I really struggled with this last night & could use some feedback from anyone who has run the sword with their warlock. I've done it with my hunter, but it was a bummer to get so hung up.
The biggest problem was that the boomers kept getting me when I was up there hitting Crota. What's the best way to distract them so they don't look at me? Any other pro tips?

1 man with ice breaker keeping them distracted while you are on the platform. Left side of the glass so he can see them both. This is Normal mode but same premise as hard mode to use the sword as a warlock. http://youtu.be/NBWBmodaGcw

Lol. Here's what my team does. If we have a titan we have him pop a bubble on the platform crota goes to on the right and the boomers will shoot the bubble not you. If you have have a titan and if you have a hunte, have the hunter go invisible before you guys go out. Then he runs to the right boomer tower and can go behind it and shoot the wall to distract them.

2 RepliesAlways go up the right side when using sword. My team has found that the right boomers will 99% of the time leave you alone. The first time you go up with the sword the right boomers will not shoot you at all, (if they do then that's super weird bc I've never seen it happen) leave the left ones alone because they won't do anything. Instead of having a titan put a bubble where crota would be on the right, have a titan follow you up to crota and have them drop a bubble either on the platform right as you jump up to hit crota or on the rocks. Dear titan, PLEASE PLEASE wait until your team drops crota first to drop your shield next to crota... I've seen so many people get wacked by not waiting. BUT yeah I'm still trying to learn how to use my warlock to hold the sword too, I hope this helps a little :)

I've used Voidwalker with Blink before. Granted, it was Normal, but it worked quite well.

Have someone on boomer duty. Take one out asap leave the other one. Or have a titan throw a bubble in front of them. That stops all

We usually have one person with an ib that does headshots to the knights on the right when the sword holder has the sword. You stun them, they run away. If you kill one, don't kill the other and let him respawn

4 RepliesIf you have a Titan, have them put up a bubble on the bridge. The boomers will shoot at the bubble so you (swordbearer) won't have to worry. If you don't have a Titan, choose one person to go sit in the boomer spot and knife the wall (preferably someone who doesn't have a tracking rocket launcher). If you don't know what I'm talking about then I'm sure you can find a video somewhere.

4 RepliesHave someone sit on top of the door ways in the ogre room shooting the ceiling to distract boomers. Make sure your team throws grenades when you go for the sword. Swipe while you're jumping to speed up your glide. Can't think of anything else tbh.

Make sure your in center of platform while attack a bit more difficult for boomers to targe only you
