You almost have no choice but to play a bit of crucible, or wait everyday to do bounties. I crucible until 10-12, then go story, I'm usually 20 before Mars evens opens.

Ok. I'll start doing Crucible - seems like the way to go. And obviously I do my vanguard bounties everyday. I bought an exotic helmet so that will get me to like 24 once I get to 20.

That's what I do, but an exotic piece of armor from xur, then just do roc strikes until your 27-28, then get people to help you through Crotas end. I had 3 warlocks up until last week, and I already have a 27 Titan, and one light from a 30 hunter, all I need is raid gear(I have 200+ radiant shards.)
