the volatile light perk feels insignificant
So what I suggest is that the perk stays how it is but now [b]the bottom half of the magazine will penetrate an enemies shield[/b] ( this would only be [b]against enemies of the darkness)[/b]
This would truly make the gun worthy of the name [b]HARD LIGHT[/b]

3 RepliesI just fully upgraded this weapon yesterday. Although it is fun to use, it's pretty shitty against majors. It's a great gun for Tier 1 mobs. I also heard it's great for Crucible but Hard Light is sadly getting NERFED with the update so :(

5 RepliesMy thing with the Hard Light: It's a gun that shoots LIGHT. Isn't light what all the guardians are fighting for? To save Earth? This gun should absolutely wreck face on any/all minions of the Darkness. Because it shoots Light, it should be the most OP PvE weapon in the game. The Light it shoots should also be its own element, nullifying any elemental minion shields. It's just my opinion, but if there is one gun in the game that is effective against all minions of Darkness, it should be a gun that shoots LIGHT.

3 RepliesI think that since Volatile Light makes the bullets bounce, I think that instead of them just bouncing off the floor to nowhere, they should have a chance to bounce off to the nearest or next nearest enemy (hitting one bouncing to another). I think a good percentage would be 25% chance to bounce. I feel like this somewhat low percentage is fair, otherwise the bullets that bounce would need to have lowered damage to compensate for a higher percentage. It would not be overpowered since it has a relatively low magazine size and the low impact. It's a good gun, but to me the exotic perk seems pretty useless.
