How much Vault space should Bungie add?
I would assume they would add additional pages to the vault, as it works with your friends list and currently players list.
Another possibility is that they could split the vault into three different vaults. One for inventory items, one for weapons, and one for armor.

Should have categories- uncommon rare legendary exotic and if you have doubles let them be able to stack. I like to collect but unfortunately I had to delete several legendary and exotics yesterday to do the raids. Glad I did tho.. lol

Edited by ryanhatfield: 3/17/2015 1:33:19 AMYou need to account for all possible exotics, all possible raid weapons / armor (all raids), shaders/ships/mats, and then also account for vendor legendaries and iron banner gear. So basically the more space the better!

1 ReplyI'd like to see a tab the size of the 'weapons' tab for each weapon slot, and a separate tab for ships, sparrows, shaders, and emblems. Consumables and mats should stay together. I think the armor tab is fine, but I want a new tab for engram storage. I think the existing 3 blocks per page is fine, with 3-4 pages of differentiated item pens we would be better able to manage our personal armory without ditching old situational favorites like the Vision and Fatebringer will be after HoW unless there's an upgrade option.

Why limit the vault? Most people like saving their earned weapons in their vault as trophies. I love storing faction weapons in there, especially the blood red New Monarchy weapons, although I rarely use them.

Its been confirmed comet will have a new social space. Im assuming that will include another vault. Im hoping /planning to keep all my goodies from before comet at the tower vault and all my new goodies in the new vault. Hopefully

They just want to keep them kind of as trophies because of the feeling of accomplishment that they had when they received them. So how about Bungie create sort of a trophy room or checklist for every exotic and raid item? You could access it from in game or the app and it would show every exotic and raid item in the game grayed out. Then when you acquire one of the items, it would show in full color, even if you dismantled it. Maybe there could even be an achievement unlocked if you collect every item per content release. That way Bungie wouldn't have to increase vault space and we wouldn't all have to be digital hoarders. This would even be a benefit for Bungie, because more people would play for longer to collect more items to complete the list. What do you think? Would this be an acceptable alternative?

i think they need to be more creative with this. everyone gets additional slots, but you can also earn more based on the ship you have. i envision my titan similar to the predator (you know, the movie predator)... i want to open a door and walk into a weapons room with weapons on the wall and i just pick and choose what i want before going into battle. i want a trophy room where my armor can be placed on mannequins, etc. -
Why not have bungie create extra pages for vault storage that you can scroll through with R1 like scrolling through your inventory? That way you can have 20 slots per page and have like 20 pages....problem solved

Well lets see, we have 3 characters with 3 sections of 9 slots each. So thats 81 slots plus the 20 in the vault. We have 101 now, so another 86575309 slots should be appropriate

I would be if they just mixed the three types of slots into a sngle vault. I dont use the armor side too much and the materials side is half empty.

1 Replyi think just doubling the size from the like 25 slots each item class to like 50 like make it pages so when you press page two it switches from the first pannles to the second one not one huge pannle of items just two segments
