The Only BR/AR Thread
Due to the incessant amount of spam and repeat posting about the topic of the design of the Battle Rifle and the Assault Rifle in Halo 3, all threads about these topics will be locked on sight and the author warned (then banned if they keep doing it). Please discuss the BR and AR and your thoughts in this thread and this thread alone.
For reference, Bungie's response to all comments and complaints about the design of the Battle Rifle can be found [url=/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&cid=14347] in the weekly update for June 20th, 2008[/url].
People expecting further Bungie responses on the issue are likely to be disappointed.

AR and BR only hmmmm i guess the DMR is allowed too cuz its the offspring of the BR so hmmmm guys if you where in the REACH campaign and u only got 2 weapons to choose to use for the whole campaign and u cant change ur weapons the only weapons u can use are the AR and DMR which weapon would you choose? MINE:AR YOURS:REPLY BELOW!!!! XD

i think the br and the ar both have the good and the bad. it is just up to the user's preference to decide if they want to us the br or the ar. its totally up to the user of the gun. just sayin'

The number one reason why I don't like Halo Reach is because the ranking system isn't that good. It's like call of duty. I don't mean to be rude, but people are calling Halo Reach "-blam!-lo"... I love using the BR. I personally think that the AR is a noob weapon because I think that people who do not have good aim with the BR find the AR quite easy to use. I do use the AR sometimes, but that's when the game type is Team Slayer (AR start).
