UPDATED --REFORGING -- Xur - Materials - Vendors - Vault - More

WHITEVELVET Edited: 13m ago The Original Game Content that is from the beginning to level 20 could still be relevant, used and updated to the latest level. Players above level 20 would love this. Blue Engram drops would or could have more meaning. This would expand the content of the game immensely. Either use Rare and Above or Legendary and above only. The more weapons and armor that is available at any given level is better for everyone. There could be many types of Reforge -- all reset progression Reforge I -- at same light and dps with re-roll of perks. Reforge II -- gear and weapons to new light and dps R.P. -- Re-roll one perk of choice- still resets progression It would also help cut down on the problem of everyone looking the same. Various ways this could be accomplished. -Reforging Engram -- drops from any and everything just like the current engrams. Decrypt into a specific type of reforge, either gear or weapon, and for specific weapon or gear types. Any class. -Xur sells a reforge -- using ascendant materials, motes, strange coins, glimmer -Gunsmith sells a reforge -- motes, strange coints, glimmer, --- Gunsmith Ranking from purchasing synths from him would result in reforging credits. Spin Metal - Helium - Relic Iron - Spirit Bloom -These materials should be given out in smaller quantities from the strike playlists in quantities from 1 to 5 or perhaps 5 to 10, based on the level of strike playlist you are on. -These could also be random drops in small amounts from the crucible based on map location. Vault Space -Sell More vault space from a vendor -Vault of Light -- Light Level will increase vault space -Vault Bounties -- perform a series of quests/tasks to increase vault space -- this is more content for the game. so its a win win. More difficult bounties give more vault space. Or you get vault credits, and as you get X number of credits you get 1 space which can be used wherever you want, and moved around into any section. -Allow the vault spaces to be used for anything and organized in any way. If we have free spots in the gear section, and our weapons section is full, then we could move empty spaces into the full section to make more room. This would allow each player to use the spaces for whatever they want. Some people like collecting gear, most people like weapons, others might like ships, some like materials. This is customization, and adds content to the game. Other Changes --- Ideas Shader Engram -- drops randomly like current system from anything, including crucible. Random Roll of various colors Rare Gear Shader Engram - you pick colors Rare Weapon Shader Engram - you customize your weapons appearance Legendary Shader Engram -- You customize it for the character it is on across each piece of armor, weapon, ship, sparrow, etc. Exotic Shader -- Same as above but can be changed at any time. I have a lot of other ideas that would be easy to incorporate into the existing content which would give it more depth and individuality. But, because these forums are overloaded with complaints as opposed to solutions, it makes it difficult for devs to filter. Feedback Welcome. I will start the first response on self. --"Git Gud" Meg.   • I like the idea on shaders, vault space should just double nothing fancy it's taking long enough, and with reforging I just think there needs to be some way to actually stop that from being too over powered, maybe make it a commendation to reforge? That way it takes a little bit of time.
