Should Shoulder-Charge be Nerfed? (Poll)

I'm fine seeing any of these ideas in game.

20

#1, Increasing the time it takes to activate.

34

#2, decreasing power, adding a push effect.

69

#3, replacing power with a stagger/blind effect.

20

#4, adding significant recoil damage.

6

#5, keeping Shoulder Charge as it is.

I prefer one of the community ideas posted below.

Please read each description further below before voting. There are too many people complaining about the Striker subclass and how it's, "So OP." This is a poll about a few Ideas I have that may fix the problem. ----- First off, I want to express that I feel the Striker's subclass is just as OP as any other subclass. The best solution is to stop complaining. If you ever see a Titan closing in on you in the crucible, keep distance! They can't shoulder charge you If they're hills away. Another thing you can do is double jump. The Striker's Super, Fist of Havoc, is a ground based move unlike the VoidWalker's Void Bomb. So once you see a striker activating his super, double jump away ASAP and you should be alive enough to tell the tale. ----- Unfortunately players will still complain because most of the time the Striker converges on unsuspecting prey. I understand the frustration when you die from a force that you could have not prevented. A common solution is decreasing Shoulder Charge's power so it can not one-hit an enemy. This solution, in my eyes, will never work. Every basic melee in the game already has the power to bring down an opponent within two hits. Making the perk, Shoulder Charge, not change the melee at all really defeats the purpose of it being a melee perk. I have other ideas. 1) Increasing the Time it takes to activate Shoulder Charge
This method will reduce the overall frequency of Shoulder Charge attacks, but will most likely have players complain about its power as usual.
2) Decreasing Power but adding in a push effect.
This is a very strange idea but I think it could work. Unfortunately it would change the move completely, but maybe for the better. I was thinking of Shoulder Charge granting a perk like the Sunsinger's Solar Wind; the only problem is Solar Wind is weak sauce as it only pushes enemies a meet foot or two back, so increasing the push distance much further would be desired. This could be used to hit players off an edge which players would complain about but would feel great to the user.
3) Removing power and replacing it with a stagger effect.
Much like the last suggestion, this would completely change the move you know and love. You'd hit enemies with Shoulder Charge but instead of killing them they are left staggered and blinded. This would be found very useful in Pve and Pvp situations alike.
4) Adding recoil damage
The Striker's Fist as Havoc will be just as deadly as before but will take a significant amount of the users health. That way a teammate of the deceased could be very likely avenged.
5) Don't change anything, Shoulder Charge needs to stay the same
This is the best option, but not the only option.
Community Idea 1) No Special ammo on Respawn
The main problem may not be the Shoulder-Charge, but maybe it's the combination with a shotgun. Limiting special ammo on respawn could fix the problem.
Thank you for reading before commenting or voting, most of you do not, and that's fine by me. If you have any concerns, feedback, or any additional ideas for balancing Shoulder Charge, comment below, I'll place my favorite community ideas on this post. P.S. I appreciate and desire your bumping and likes. Help this community and the Devs thereof realize where we stand on this matter. P.P.S.
