So I was playing through a new character today and I found myself at "The Last Array" mission on Earth. I play a lvl 31 hunter mostly so it has been a while since I went down this road in the story. It's a pretty standard Destiny mission (kill guys, enter a no respawn zone, scan stuff, defend something), and eventually you get to the end of the mission where you have to secure the array station by fighting off waves of hive enemies. This is where the magic happens. Sometime around the second wave of enemies the background music just comes alive... It jumps at you in such a powerful way as if wishing it could be fighting right alongside you. Keep playing and it just engulfs you in the moment, fighting hive, defending earth. I just can't help but lose myself in this mission... Thank you Bungie, for my little slice of Destiny heaven, and for proving yet again to be a great developer.
