What if Bethesda (or Bioware, Blizzard, etc.) made this game?
I know that many of you are like me - you were hoping for a Skyrim/Halo MMO. Mass Effect online. Well, I got to thinking, what if Bethesda had made this game? How much better would it have been? What types of things would be in it that Destiny is currently missing? I'd like to see what you all have to say!
I think the story would be MUCH better, and of course, everything would be open world. And the DLC's would actually expand the game.
What do you think?

Also, what if we considered other RPG developers such as Bioware, Blizzard, etc?

The fps which is the core element of destiny, would not be this good by any of those other companies.

If blizzard made destiny, it would have an AMAZING story. And you'd be grinding for 5x longer to get exotics, but they'd be much more powerful.

I had my own life in skyrim lol. That game was awsome and I really like Oblivion as well, I can not tell you how excited I am for elder scrolls online to come to consoles. Haha my husband and I joke around bout how excited we would get if they remasterd skyrim..I'd go nuts. But yeah I get what your saying it'd be awsome and besthesda has us waiting..-.- lol

I don't know they really haven't made any fps it would be a bit clunky plus they've never done a PvP element either

The RPG and MMO aspects would be better, but the FPS aspect probably wouldn't be as solid.

Story would be better. Yes. Everything else would not be so great. None of those companies have made an fps that works as well as a bungie game.

If I had to choose anyone other than Bungie to make Destiny, I wouldnt choose Bethesda, I'd choose Bioware. I would completely leave Bethesda out of it. Glitches galore, they've never made a game that relies on online servers, and they've never made an FPS(I don't consider Fallout an FPS. The shooter mechanics were pathetic). They are ill equipped to make an always online FPS. Maybe if you gave them five years and they didn't make any other games they could do it, but I'd rather let them make the next Fallout and Elder Scrolls. Now onto Bioware. Bioware has experience with shooters and RPGs. Now they haven't made a FPS and their shooter mechanics have been clunky, but they have experience with Sci-Fi shooters and know how to craft a story(even if the end was a bit disappointing. They also have some experience with online servers with the multiplayers of ME3 and DAI. Bungie did a tremendous job in this game on multiple levels. The overall result was... iffy, only because of the story. But Destiny was never destined to be about the story. It relies solely on endgame content. I've been saying that people need to accept that and move on. The story is crap. Let it die and move on.

I think any of those companies would have produced a successful yet VERY different game. Honestly, like some people mentioned, I never saw Bungie as the problem. I'm a firm believer that what this game has become is Activision fault. I hope that Bungie gets smarter and parts from those assclowns. I think we would be playing much more content if it weren't for them. What Bungie produced could be the start of something immersive, mystifying, and beautiful. They know that. But for some reason there is a higher power screwing the pooch. Smells like Activision to me.

Just me but it wouldn't matter who made it, once Activision got involved we would have still ended up with the same amount of gameplay. Yes it would have been different in a multitude of ways but as much as I love this game it would still end up similar.

just look at the blizzard fps and tell me that you want to play. it look like complete shit to me
