Dragon Age: Inquisition FAQ
I've been getting a number of messages from people asking questions on the game. Feel free to ask questions or discuss the game here. I'll try to update this with commonly asked questions.
Here are a few questions I've gotten. I'll put answers in spoilers so this part isn't super long, and so there aren't any plot spoilers.
[b]Why should I buy this game?[/b]
[spoiler]If you like Bioware games you will like this game. If you haven't played Bioware games before: you should. Lol.
Basically their games are very story and character driven. Multiple romance options, multiple subplots, excellent main campaign. You literally can't play the whole game in one play through, which usually seems to take people 60 hours or so. I've seen it vary from 35 to over 100 for one play through
It also has a surprisingly addictive multiplayer (similar to ME3'S mp), which I've heard they're going to continue to update.[/spoiler]
[b]What level should I be for... (no game spoilers)[/b]
[spoiler] I stole this from a reddit thread.
Haven: 1+ (1-4)
Hinterlands: 2+ (4-7, 8-12)
Val Royeaux: 4+ (4-6)
Storm Coast: 5+ (7-11, 13-15)
Fallow Mire: 8+ (8-10, 12-15)
Forbidden Oasis: 8+ (8-12, 5-15, 18-20)
Skyhold: 10+Crestwood: 10+ (10-13)
Western Approach: 10+ (10-14)
Exalted Plains: 10+ (10-16)
Emerald Graves: 12+ (14-20)
Emprise du Lion: 16+ (16-22)
Hissing Wastes: 16+ (19-23)
They also have recommended levels for the main plot quests in the game.[/spoiler]
[b]Do I need to play the prequels to enjoy/understand this game?[/b]
[spoiler]Definitively NOT. It would help, but you by no means need to.
If you want to make your own custom world, meaning you get to choose what happens in previous games, use dragon age keep. It's a website where you just change things around to make the world as you see fit.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyFor far into the story is sky hold. I'm currently playing it on nightmare mode so I have to do almost every side quest to level up and actually do damage to pesky enemies. But I'm at the hinderlands with almost every side quest done. Got about 14 hours into it. Level 10 archer. How far do you Guys think it'll take me to get to sky hold to get an specification class. Try to keep the answer with as little spoilers as possible. Please and thanks.
