Did you guys read the ghost fragment Cayde-6 grimoire? He had a Fallen ally even if for only an hour or so. They made a final stand near a crashed jump ship and when she became wounded from fighting a Hive Knight, she slumped against the ship hull and threw him her last shock pistol and provoked him to kill her when he went pick it up. From my understanding, she was wounded with no way of recovering and wanted him to euthanize her but couldn't bring herself to ask and didn't want to put him in an awkward spot. I thought grimoire was really deep and felt Cayde-6 should have rescued her and brought her (against her will) back to the tower for research. From there she would slowly and regrettably become an ally and since she didn't belong to an actual Fallen House (her pack was exiled and died at the hands of the hive) she wouldn't be a traitor. She could be a rare vendor and could stand near the comms to left or right of the vanguard table. She could offer Rare ghost shells, and a weekly random assortment of legendaries that require reputation. Such a missed opportunity Bungie :(

This is one of the more interesting grimoire cards. There is more (or supposedly more) to the Fallen, but I can't help feel the reveal will be awkward since we've killed a lot of them. You don't really forget or forgive things like that.
-
If you think about it, the fallen were the first enemy you encounter. They were really interested in your ghost. You wouldn't know they were an enemy until your ghost told you to defend yourself. What if there was a way to ally with them at the beginning. Think about it... maybe they just wanted to make peace and your useless ghost said shoot first, ask questions later.

The Fallen and Cabal are not with the Darkness. They are similar to us... Trying to escape it. The Fallen are roaming space pirates, while the Cabal are running from it, and Earth just so happens to be in there path. The Hive and Vex are another story. The Vex worship the Heart of the Black Garden, which is a sort of conduit for the Darkness. The Hive are literal soldiers of the Darkness...embracing it.

All frazzled frazis are reporting for duty sir

Personally, I like the granite of the War of Words and Roses (the grimiore of Thorn v. TLW) Shin and Dredgen have amazing backstory and I wish they were at least mentioned in the storyline.
-
Yeah, that's one of my fav cards
-
Plot twist: pistol was set to stun and she will return in th HoW.
-
Post a pic of the grimoire card i cant find it
-
Good work. Using the story to make the story
-
That's a great idea. I read the grimoire and I found it sad
-
BUMP. SUCH A GOOD IDEA. BUNGIE IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THESE LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO YOU WILL AT LEAST TRY AND ADD THIS. PEOPLE WOULD LOOOVE THIS.
-
Bump! If I were able to hang with a Guardian of the Vanguard it would be Cayde-6. If you listen to him in the tower, you know he's a warrior relegated to a thankless desk job.
-
If all the grimoire cards were made into cutscenes in the game... ;_;
-
Apparently Fallen have genders
-
He didn't want to but she tried to stab him with a shock knife so he had to kill her.
-
What card is this?
-
Three words "I. Ship. Them."

I've heard a theory about guardian classes being associated with enemy classes, for example Warlocks They're big on intelligence, much like the vex, and Ikora Rey voices the intros for the vex-based strikes Titans Big, bulky, and strong, like the cabal, and Commander Zavala voices the intros for the cabal-based strikes Hunters Stealthy and strategic are like the fallen, and Cayde does the intros for the fallen strikes. Probably not a coincidence that he's teamed up with one, and wouldn't be surprised to hear more stories similar to this for the other vanguard mentors

You remember those fallen in the Ishtar sink? Well apparently they got themselves one of those goddamn archon priests
-
According to a grimore entry a dreg said that the darkness cannot be beaten so the fallen serve the darkness The hive religion have gods which Embrace the darkness and hate the light like crora eats light The vex are all joined by one ultra mind and that ultra mind could be the darkness but I found a theory that atheon is not apart of the darkness ultra mind (because the name atheon is derived from the tern "athios" Greek for atheist) The cabal are the least explained race, there pact with the darkness could be to do with the darkness expanding there galactic empire, or they made a truce with the darkness for the cabal to spread the darkness or get destroyed.

One of my absolute favorite grim cards. Really plays a movie in my head everytime i read it. She tried to kill him before he ripped out her throat basically lol cayde 6 is just a badass.
-
Glad to see other people read the grimoire
-
We don't know yet if that'll be brought up. Hell, depending on the outcome of House of Wolves, we might end up with a Fallen House aiding the Guardians.
-
She would have comitted suicide upon meeting the Speaker. I don't think the fallen can stand vague answers either

I just can't keep this out of my mind : when the stranger said to your ghost: we always need to choose a path, even if its not the good one. And she also mention that she was not : created by the light like us.
