To be quite honest I think the fact Destiny is making content exclusive to PlayStation is not going to help keep the number of players up for Xbox. I've been following Bungie for quite some time now, I played Marathon, every single halo game which made me buy an Xbox in the first place and now with destiny it feels that they have hopped onto the PlayStation bandwagon and even I'm disappointed in the lack of appreciation towards Xbox players. I don't think Xbox should get exclusives either, I just think that a game I was so eager to play hoping for more content is not going to deliver on that as much as it will on PlayStation. I understand that some games have exclusive but waiting till fall 2015? that's a bit extreme. First its exclusive weapons that look awesome, especially the exotic handcannon, now a strike, next what? an entire expansion. I would rather PlayStation get content free and Xbox have to pay, I just don;t see why we should lose out on extra content this game needs to keep me enjoying the experience of Destiny
To be quite honest I think the fact Destiny is making content exclusive to PlayStation is not going to help keep the number of players up for Xbox.
I'm pretty sure Sony has accounted for this and have compensated Bungie accordingly.
I understand that some games have exclusive but waiting till fall 2015? that's a bit extreme
Xbox will have Tomb Raider as a timed exclusive. They specifically took that away from Sony, and I'm pretty sure they're going to milk it for as long as they can, so a 6 month to a year or more won't be out of the ordinary. This is essentially a business decision and a "war" between the consoles. The gamers suffer for it, but you just have to understand both Companies are paying for it. If you don't like it, speak with your wallet and don't buy it. But again, Sony has likely anticipated revenue loss from Xbox players already to have compensated Bungie/Activision. If you have a problem with this, blame people overall, not just the companies. If you hold any stock, or plan to hold any stock in the future, you will be part of the problem. When we buy stock our goal is to make a profit. In order to do that, the companies need to make a profit also. Therefore, they create various marketing strategies to make said profit. So to appease their shareholders (You and Me), you're going to see these sorts of cutthroat tactics. So you need to look at the bigger picture, and then you'll understand why this sort of stuff happens.
If you were such a loyal Bungie fan like you claim, you would have switched consoles like they did
-VexPortalGlitch

Who cares? If people on Xbox don't wanna play anymore than just make the game a PS exclusive. Saves them the time and money to support multiple consoles. I want Destiny 2 to just focus on next gen, so we can get the most out of it. If next gen just consists of PS4 then even better.

God lord are people still talking about this. Put on your big boy pants and get over it. Not going to change. Signed, An Xbox user.

I'm annoyed that I can't play Tomb Raider until it's later release for PS4. I am a loyal tomb raider fan and have played since tomb raider on PS1(xbox didn't get any tomb raiders until legend in around 2006/7). Get over yourself.

Change title to correctly say "exclusive early access" since Xbox will get it in August 2015.

I always was a Playstation guy and switched to X1 because it seemed Xbox always had the exclusives in the past. And now it changes. -blam!- me.

Maybe because bungie and Activision favors ps more then Xbox
