So I am decent in the crucible, especially when I am with my team. I have been noticing A LOT of suspicious activity as of late especially in skirmish. A lot of lag issues obviously, but I have been quite suspicious of a few people of possible aimbotting.
Example 1: While playing skirmish on Blind Watch I was being sniped out instantly by one of their players in very odd ways. 2 times in a row upon spawning I was 1-shot before the spawning animation even completed. He was standing on the top section between B and C and I was spawning in random open spots. Later we were in the tunnels at the door to B and I was giving them some resistance. The same guy fell from the top and before his feet hit the ground instaheadshot.
The same thing happened with 3 different players on twilight gap.
Tonight I came across another team and one player using SUROS was literally one-shotting my team. I thought maybe I was getting hit by more than one gun until I faced him alone while the other 2 were busy with the rest of the team across the map. He started shooting so I rounded the corner to take cover and wait and BOOM. 1 shot by SUROS.
There are plenty of other cases I could present, but these are the most recent. I understand there are a lot of people better than me and that both of the cases could just be my misfortune. (Except the SUROS part... something was up with that.) I mainly just want to point out that PS3 is notorious for attracting hacks and mods by simply plugging a USB device with an executable to your system. I do report these people if I am suspicious, but is it actually being monitored? Is Bungie actually catching and banning these players, or are they focusing simply on the PVE glitchers?
Not trying to start a flamefest here. Just curious if the reporting system is being used by bungie or is it just for show?
