1 ReplyWas on my Macbook using Safari. Apparently this forum doesn't like safari...or vice versa. So this is my 4th attempt at posting. I am new to the group! Thank you to DumbXboxTag for your help today. Also TOTAL Destiny noob. Had a young gamer tell me I was too old to learn new games and made fun of me for playing CoD:AW...so I grabbed his favorite game, Destiny, yesterday. Diggin it so far. [b]XB1[/b] (if you see me on 360, its actually my 8 year old son...more than likely) [b]Level 7 Warlock[/b] as of now [b]Eastern Time (Boston)[/b] Married. Son. Dog. Ministry stuff. Good times! I was an avid PC gamer for years. Semi-competitive Halo player. I was on the admin team for a large international christian 18+ gaming community for several years. It was birthed around the original Halo, but we grew to run several Halo servers, 2 CoD servers, CS:S server. We also housed several MMO guilds for WoW, Guildwars, Perfect World and a couple more that I don't remember. It was a great experience, but an intense experience. And I've laid low and not gotten involved in any other group since. This seems like a group dynamic that is similar to what we were doing and...I just want to slide in and hang with some cool peeps! That would be you! I may be a bit quiet at first. We'll see. I like coffee. And guitars. Things that go boom. And things that go fast. And stuff.

Seriously though, I've played games since the Atari, been saved for as long as I can remember, happily married for 19 years, have 4 children(all of whom play Destiny, well, the 16 month old doesn't exactly know what he's doing; but he tries!) and can play in the afternoon and on weekends. Jesus is Lord of my life and my mind is constantly on scripture. I just wish I could do a better job of communicating my faith :/ Anyway, feel free to invite me and i'll be glad to join! I'm a pretty big novice when it comes to destiny, so hopefully I can learn a thing or two from some of you. There is quite a time difference but hopefully we can make it work! Also I would love to hear any tips that anyone has for getting some great armour and weapons, thanks!

I am another 48 yo gamer (seeing a trend here) and I actually work for Microsoft (though I have absolutely nothing to do with the XBOX group). So far I've enjoyed playing Destiny with my 10 yo son, who is generally better at first-person shooters than I am, but I'm learning. We really do need help on some raids though, so I'm glad to have found this group.

I build both perk classes at the same time and max both. Tend to go back and forth depending on the need. I would like to do some raids but being they are so long have been challenged to find a group able to finish. 3. Pst random hours due to work schedule. (RN) 4. I found this group via HappyDad. He Nook and I team up often. I met them both via the xb forum as I was looking for some Christians to game with. I'm a 48 yo gamer girl. Just started gaming not that long ago mostly shooters. Long divorced with two teens 13 and 15 who are not yet on xb1. Maybe soon.

I'm an "old school" gamer (which basically just means I'm OLD) - I've loved video games all my life, and have never had much interest in online gaming. Destiny has changed that, and I've only just gotten into it, but have had a blast so far. I've been on 360 until just now (my xbox1 came in the mail this week). I love God and have been a Christian most of my life. I'm the CFO of the biggest automobile company in Maine, and have a family (wife, 2 daughters) who I would die for. I am looking forward to get to know all of you and play together!

Hey everyone, my name's Chris I'm on Xbox One I have a level 28 titan and 28 hunter that I'm grinding hard to get the Vanguard and crucible armors. I live in Oklahoma so central time I'm quiet until I'm comfortable with everyone, mainly to get a feel for everyone's personalities, I don't know why, I just do. I'm up for weeklys and raids when I level up. It's good to find a Christian group with morals.

Normally I'm on after about 10pm after the wife and kids are asleep. 4. I play a good much but I still consider myself a casual gamer -my wife doesn't like me playing too much :-( I'm somewhat on the quiet side so I don't talk too much, but I'm a good listener...Been looking for a long time for some other Christian gamers... :-) Cheers
