Change Request: Mission-End Timer needs to go

at the end of a mission a timer will automatically start counting down once the final objective has been finished. reaching zero it will throw everybody out of the mission and back to the orbit. this is especially infuriating if you (as a new player) find a golden chest or an item drop you missed at the other side of the room. and right before you reach it, the countdown reaches 0 and kicks you out. i'd love to see what the gamedevs think about this. i dont see this as a very enjoyable way to end a mission. it at least frustrated me a lot. i hope you are celebrating your brilliant launch and have a nice week guys. :) best regards,

  • If it is a free roam world, why do you have to go back to orbit after every mission?

  • I agree there needs to be more control about when to end the mission other than avoiding the final objective. Being a person who absolutely loved looking in every locker, chest, etc in borderlands and smashing absolutely every object humanly possible in Diablo, I find not being able to search the environment/dungeon/room after killing all enemies very infuriating and dissapointing. Please bungie implement some option to end when WE want to end. Thanks

  • Agree here, also appreciate the constructive thinking rather than just complaining, they could make you hold a button like they do for everything else, i find my self rushing around the room at the end to make sure i didn't miss anything.

  • I've had some frustration there as well, but I don't know how they'd redesign it for when missions end.
