Glitch in Member Roles/Titles?
Last night I went to bed as a member. I wake up this morning as a Mythic Member.
What happened?

Did something else get tweaked again?

I been here 16 months = heroic? Different. haven't posted and or been banned in at least 7 months regularly.

I don't think the titles are working right, I just saw a Legendary member who's only 2 years old. He didn't even know that an all-caps title would lead him to a bannishment.

This whole trust rating thing confuses me. I guess that's what happens when I don't frequent the bungie forums for a while..

Originally I thought the fact that the sudden dissappearance of the equally sudden Legendary promotion was a result of me nearly evoking the banhammer. Maybe it [i]was[/i] a glitch that occurred as they were shifting something around on-site.

I became a Heroic Member pretty quickly but I have to say I like it. I did post a lot though. Not much to do in a Statistics lecture.....

Achronos has already said that the member title system is a little borked right now and will be fixed some time in the near furture. You're absolutely right. What I failed to mention above was that this topic was in the Flood Forum, yet I still got banned and recieved notices from various 'ninjas' about how my topic was random.

I thought most forums went by post count? Do they use a different system based on Trust levels, join date and post counts? When I was heroic I got messages asking why, because no one else had 'em. I didn't think I had the post count, so I thought maybe it's because I got-in on the Bungie Friends and Family Halo 3 beta ticket.. or maybe for the same reasons I was selected for that. Anyway, I was answering this guy and suddenly noticed he was asking about my heroic rank, and it turned out he was heroic too. I teased him, but then after I sent it, I was no longer Heroic, I was legendary. Then I started thinking it had to do with what level difficulty I'd beaten the game on, considering I'd JUST finished it on Legendary that afternoon. Maybe I'll beat it with the mythic skull active this afternoon and see if it changes (yeah right!) The Overlord said that he was trying to make a load more Legendary and Heroic members, he just screwed it up the first try.[/quote] I don't know. I personally preferred when there were more regular members. Even if it was increased, this still seems a tad too high.
