Maybe its a good thing, not hype but a foreshadowing into the fact that they plan on continuously adding new content... It is a weird saying, but hopefully they can keep up with the player base.
If I can spend 30-50 Dollars a year to expand an awesome game, with A LOT of new content, then that is fine with me. Not like COD, Battlefield, or other games that come out every year with "New" games...

Well we'll have to see how the game works to decide if the expansion pack is lot of new content. Sounds like December and March for $35 to 40 of new content. They certainly don't sound like much which is why we need to see how the game plays. Since the next game won't be coming out until I 'll assume September of 2016, there is a whole year of nothing in new areas. Sounds like we may have to wait till next summer to hear if there is something to fill in that 1 year gap.

Ah Thanks for the replies Bmatt17 and Hazmattx. I forgot about that as I didn't go with that package. I went with the standard package which ties into the topic itself, I found the beta very boring after finishing the story so I am taking a chance that Bungie has something more interesting with the daily story and Nightfall missions as well as the weekly missions. Luke Smith said Nightfall missions were somewhat like raid missions so I hope so. I grinded for loot in Warframe for about six months and while it was very fun at first, when new content got added, it still followed the same repetitive format for shooting things and it started feeling like nothing new was really being added. I'm afraid that is how Destiny might end up feeling, particularly when the strike mission in the beta showed nothing different between the two difficulty levels. Concerned the daily content will start feeling the same day and day as so far as there isn't any kind of randomization occurring. Once you play something, it, so far plays the same again and again. Keeping my fingers crossed for the final product.

That's already better than the couple pvp maps in CoD for the same price. If they manage a raid in with each, the $15 will easily be worth it.

I kind of wonder if the year in between will be a .5 update. Also, each expansion is $20 a piece or $35 for expansion pass. Is that for half a year, basing it on the current release schedule? Expansions might end up cost more than the game for a year.
