I actually prefer the full animation. Useless and "unrealistic" sure, but it just...looks better to me. Not sure why. Also: this is 700+ years in the future. The guns are loaded with all sorts of sci-fi tech. "Charging" a weapon could mean exactly that: charging the ammunition or firing mechanism from some kind of onboard micro-generator.

  • Your logic is ridiculous. "charging" is one word for cocking, locking, auctioning, etc. It means reset the firing mechanism, which is not needed when there is already a bullet in the firing chamber. Doenst matter if its 1922, or 235123561236234612346341. These guns are based on 20th century designs. I played the beta, and I was kinda disappointed how it is so far in the future, but they still use old school guns.
