Of course, there should be some sort of trading implemented into the game, where two players would agree on something they like, lets say, a helmet. Now the player trading away the helmet would put it up, then ask for marks, glimmer, or another item they would like to recieve in the trade.
I believe this is a good idea, but the system should have some restrictions. Like, the item they are trading should be matched with another item valued at around the same price, or if they are asking for glimmer, it simply should only be able to be sold for the price you can buy it at, no higher.
One last thing it markets. A place where items are cheaper and sold quickly by other players who put that item on the "market". And a possible function in these "markets" could be bidding for an item between other players.
Thanks for reading!

No thanks, runs contrary to what Bungie themselves have stated as their goals in Destiny. They said they don't want trading and for good reason.

All of the responces I read below say no. I will guess they arexall FPS people. MMO players see these things as staples of any game. It is this division that worries me about Destiny. FPS players know that trading, markets, and microcharges can lead to a pay to win scenario. MMO players know that with the proper regulations, checks and balances in place these options can be a good way of earning glimmer for personal use. I will argue both sides have merit. This game has been marketed to appeal to both the FPS and the MMO player communities. The needs of both have similaritiescand unique differences. We should all be saying.... "That option may not be for me but if you feel you need it and it does not adversly affect one side or the other, then by all means lets look at it." Don't just dismiss it because you have little to no experiance in the other persons kind of gaming. Nungie has built one heck of a tight rope to walk. Lets not shake it for them but rather help the balance. VtxR - PS3

Nah, earn your loot.

Who brought up microtransactions? This is a trading market, I don't know where that comes in. I don't want it to be a market, just private trades, like borderlands.
-
No trading between players, people will try cheat and hack. This is not shitlands.

Edited by Acer: 8/13/2014 7:39:14 AMTrading isn't going to happen and Bungie has said this numerous times. The point of your gear is that it is yours. When someone sees that exotic weapon, they'll know you earned it and didn't buy it from someone. This makes the weapons you earn more personal and more rewarding.
