Just wanted to see your guys' thoughts on whether or not Destiny should be available on PC. Had a blast with it in Xbox One but trying to convince my friends that are in PC to get into next gen consoles is very difficult lol. Be it the price for the console, mouse/keyboard vs controller, graphics, etc..., most of them stay just with the PC. Would be nice to allow then to experience this great game as well. At any rate, let's see your opinions. iixxSAINTxxii out.

Why would anyone say no?
-
No because PC's smell funny.
-
it should be eventually...i think 2015

Bungie have said they won't do a pc version while they have 4 platforms to support. Once the comet dlc is sorted which shouldn't take long to be ready xbox 360 and ps3 will stop getting support, as both these machines are coming to the end of their life cycle. Activision have said that a pc version is a natural fit for destiny, this pretty much translates to "its coming to pc, we will let you know when" The steam library leaked a release of march 2015. This fits with everything we know so far. I would guess that this is about right. They will want the pc destiny version out before the division releases, as if they release at the same time there is more choice in which game to buy.

What the -blam!-... the people that vote for "No" ... should at least comment. Its an online game so im not really happy to buy it on console... and because its an Social game i wanna play with with friends... quess how many of my Gaming Friends has an 360 and wanna buy it for 360... and how many has an diffrent console or none and how many has a PC.... 0%, 60%, 100% If you wanna make an Social Game than bring it out on the most social Plattform pls.

It blows my mind that people are saying no. Why would you want people to miss out on a game?

It's getting really annoying that people keep spamming this crap about PC. 1. They have better graphic cards, meaning it would be far better and require more rendering by Destiny, causing the delay of the release of new content. 2. There is more controls, meaning more and more 'features' needed to keep PC entertained. 3. Consoles need exclusives to survive. Not everything can go to PC. 4. They explained why they haven't done it to IGN already. They said there wasn't any actual conversation about it.

I voted yes and truth be told I have a grudge against most PC players. But I think PC should get it later on after the 2nd installment of the game. PC users like to mod games and then the mods become more popular than the actual core gameplay. Skyrim, Arma, dayz (altis life) there are many more. GTA V will join the crowd soon. Then there no reason to actually buy addons or extra content because the best ones are free. So devs quit making cool stuff for the game and PC takes it over.

No man's sky and star citizen is all I need on pc
-
They said if they're making a PC port, it's coming out in 2015.
-
I only got a laptop and it looks like it will not be cross system play like war thunder is so I wouldn't want it to be on the PC
-
Edited by Treebeard: 8/2/2014 3:20:27 PMAll my friends switched to PC, and they're always rubbing it in my face how much better their graphics and games are. They don't need something else to taunt me with! Also, the complex server infrastructure, as Bungie says, would be very hard to pull off on PC.
-
No. Just because they talk crap on console games until they come to PC, where their argument changes to "we has da superior versionz"
-
Don't care. My PC would probably explode trying to run a high-end game. That and gaming with a mouse and keyboard just feels... off.
-
Not a fan of gaming on pc anymore.. I can't stand the mods and all the different sh!t people do to them.. to me, it ruins the overall core of the game.
-
I voted yes even tho im getting it on console, i will be honest if it was on PC that would be my first choice
-
I say no because computer gamers tend to expect a lot more out of games then console gamers so a lot would have to be added to that version to keep them happy.
-
No, they don't deserve, because they didn't immediately get it I saw fanboys going mad predicting and wishing this game flop, PC gamers are the real entitled -blam!-s.
-
Why not, just hope BOTS don't ruin the game like it did to to elders scrolls online
-
I want it on PC for two reasons. 1 - It means more people get to play and enjoy the game 2 - I would love to see what kind of mods people would come up with
-
I would like to see it released on pc for multiple reasons. 1) More money for Bungie for bigger budget for future expansions/etc. 2) After creating a control scheme for KB/M, it would be very simple for them to implement a patch allowing KB/M controls for consoles through USB keyboards and mouses, a lot like FFXIV gave the option to.
-
Nah. Keep it console.
-
Nah, they're the "master race" and can deal with the fact that they can't play it...
-
no most people would just torrent it and bungie would lose money like the other companies
-
As long as a PC port didn't take away from the console versions, I wouldn't really care. Of course, PC folks tend to piss and moan about not having games developed on their system, they tend to piss and moan if the game doesn't use every last ounce of power of a $1500+ rig, and tend to drop games like a hot potato when the next FOTM comes out.
-
Bungie already stated that there will be a PC version. but not for a year or so down the line...
