Trading Weapons/Gear
I believe this would be an awesome option... What do you think??

4 RepliesInstead of trading. Why not have a auction in where you can put up an item in a system, and people can purchase the item for glimmer.

I would LOVE to trade. We have all a gun you get TOOOO much. I now have 4 gjallahorn. I wish I could trade it for a decent auto rifle. Or perhaps the RAID gear I can't get. 4 arm pieces but not a chest piece in site. It is Frustrating to do the raids over and over and over and never get what you need. But always get what you have way to damn much of. OR.. How about making it so it is less likely to give us a gun we already have.. or at least we already have equipped? So you are not on your 12 Black hammer but haven't gotten a Gjallahorn... yeah.. You know who I am talking about! What do we do with the "great weapons" we just cant use... that is right.. I'm breaking down Gallahorns.

Just gear cause any weapon can be earn but gear is what everyone actually wants

Edited by OnyxPredat9r: 1/20/2015 3:20:07 AMI think you should at least be able to get gear between profiles as long as you have a profiles as long as you have a password. On one profile I have a multitude of exotics but I want them on my newer profile. I think this wouldd be ok.

For my point lets put out an example of a great game with a good trading system Borderlands i mean seriously i was lvl 50 with shit weapons and my friend helped me out for some cash

I wish Destiny had trading. Too many times I've had duplicates or my friends have had duplicates and we could have traded them.

3 RepliesIt would allow for farming and selling of goods online with real money. Decent concept that won't work in the real world. Not unless you want to a completely hacked and cheated game. Become legend... by purchasing gear from www.douchbaggear.com

3 Repliesi would have to say no to this. most games that have a market place are just messed up. and when it comes to buying weapons with Real money it will just make the game worse. hacking will start off ways of cheating/glitching will show up.

We have one ps4 and my wife and i both want to play destiny she has 2 exotic auto riffles i have none she wants to send me one because she doesn't like it I would be glad to have it as we is hard for me to get things and as i said we have to share game time. Would be nice if they would let me get that Montie Carlo from here :(

Such nonsense to work hard and get an engram... only to decode it and it be absolutely useless. And no, I don't want to have to create and level-up another character to use it. Because there's no guarantee it won't happen again for the third class. Decodes for high-level gear should be 100% usable by the class doing the decoding. I think this is a serious flaw in game design insight.

1 ReplyReally think to try and make it still flow well with RNG they would have to do a auction house type deal. And charge motes and/or strange coins for the items that other players have auctioned on there. Since glimmer can be obtained pretty fast and easy.

1 ReplyTo many times have I finally gotten a legendary engram and either got mats or armor for other classes. I have played this game since release and I still have yet to get a legendary rocket launcher.

1 ReplyRules for this: -Must be Level 20+/25+ for Exotic. -Can trade once a week PER ID not character. -Exotic armor can only be traded for like class armor (I.e. Chest of Alpha Lupi TITAN for Crest of Alpha Lupi HUNTER) -No Upgraded Items/Removes all upgrades -Must be Clan mates or Fireteam players for at least ten hours (cuts down on sales market)

Its already been said that bungie didnt want to release a trade system upon release of Destiny. Trade systems WILL be implemented into future DLC's. So yes trading will be available in the future just not upon the games release.

1 ReplyTrading will only work if there are restrictions in place to limit how trading can be done. Restrictions such as: 1. Gotta be level 15+ to trade 2. You can only trade like items. A primary weapon for a primary weapon. A chest piece for a chest piece. etc etc. 3. Legendary items can only be traded with legendary items, rule 2 also applies here. 4. Exotic items are NOT tradable. Trading will ruin destiny unless restrictions like these are put in.

I believe I read somewhere that they just disabled trading at launch, due to them not wanting people to "rush" friends through the game in that type of way. Then again, I'm too lazy to go find the article.
