Bosses should drop loot
Please let bosses drop loot. I killed Sepiks several times and he never dropped loot. Just the Summary at the end. I think he should drop those shiny engrams.

I agree with the devil tank being able to drop loot, but not all bosses. If you finish Septiks you get end of mission rewards, if you finish the devil walker events, you also get a reward, we will just have to see how Destiny handles other bosses
