[b]TOP 10 THINGS Bungie MUST FIX in Destiny![/b] [I]Hope DeeJ or one of the other Bungie crew actually read this![/I] 1. [b] Waypoints[/b] - When pressing the point button you should be able to set a waypoint that everyone can see, and have it appear on HUD with a range (in meters). These waypoints should also change depending on the object. Waypointing a Fallen, HIve, etc should give a red "ENEMY" waypoint, green "LOOT" for item drops, yellow "CHEST" for chests, purple "VEHICLE" for pikes, interceptors, etc, blue "GHOST" for dead ghosts, and white or grey "WAYPOINT" for everything else such as the ground, a roof, walls, etc. All waypoints should be removable by clicking the waypoint button a second time and not disappear automatically unless 5 minutes pass without response. These may also be useful in PvP with a much quicker half life of around 5 seconds, allowing teams to "tag" important things like enemy snipers, ammo, hiding spots, etc. 2. [b]Increase Freeroam cap to 6 players[/b] - After running with a 6 man team in Crucible, sometimes we need a break and want to head to freeroam to run around and chill out. Or maybe one of us found a cool thing and wants to share. Or maybe we all want to partake on a full scale dead ghost/treasure hunt. It sucks to boot 3 of our friends out especially when we have 5 players and 20 mintutes to kill waiting for our 6th man to join us for an event like Iron Banner. 3. [b]Enable Single Player[/b] - Many times I was paired with noobs or kids that rushed ahead and ignored chests/loot when going into strikes. Or even worse the kids that were idle or hid from battle, just there to steal exp and rewards. Enable the option to run strikes and set them to solo, invite only, friends only, and public. 4. [b]Enable RANKED and SOCIAL modes, or Disable team splitting[/b] - Tired of having my 6 man fireteam split up and forced to fight each other. More often than not when this happens kids sabotage their team to help their friends. At least stop this in Ranked matches. Id prefer not to see it at all, ever. 5. [b]Shared LOOT drops[/b] - when an engram, weapon, or consumable drops it should be universal, AT THE VERY LEAST to your fireteam. It should not disappear after pickup, but rather turn translucent so that players can set waypoints on the loot for their friends. 6. [b]Loot Chest Rework[/b] - These chests have set respawn locations which is nice, except when they spawn in unreachable places. They should be openable from any angle just by approach rather than the very Zelda-like walk up to the front and manually open. They need longer half lives as they disappear way too fast, so they can be shared with teammates. They need better gear most importantly, scaled to the players currently equipped gear and level. Gear that has stat effects should be all that chests give such as an uncommon rifle with a fast reload perk. And increase the amount of glimmer, even if its random. For example one chest gives 130 while another gives 870. 7. [b]Realtime In-game mini-maps and large maps[/b] - Allow pressing a button or two simultaneously to activate maps with realtime data such as player location, vehicles, objectives, waypoints, etc. Many Guardians get lost in Destiny. This need not be the case. Also infinitely more important than a button to "wave hi". 8. [b]Player Names on/under Ships in Load Screens[/b] - Bungie... why would we buy ship skins if nobody knows that's our ship? Come on now. 9. [b]Spawn Next To Team after Join In Progress[/b] - The worst part of freeroam or accepting an invite to a mission is spawning at the first part of the map and having to travel manually while fighting annoying enemies solo until you reach your team by then they either failed or completed the objective. Please fix this to at least spawn in the same general area or at one of several visible LZs (landing zones). 10. [b]Inventory Rework[/b] - first allow players to view all items and gear in a players inventory (not bank, keep that private). If my friend has 4 exotic rifles a legendary shotgun and fusion rifle, 25000 glimmer and 200 ether seeds Id like to see please. Second keep item levels always visible. I hate how it disappears how can I know what to store for my other guardians? My level 8 hunter views a level 6 gun the same as a level 8 yet my level 1 Titan sees their true level. Also this helps when comparing gear with other players. Third show how much glimmer the gear is worth and what youll receive by breaking it down BEFORE you break it down and are sorely disappointed. Also give a warning prompt when trying to dismantle Exotics or Legendries to prevent accidents. Lastly- show a number indicating if you already own the gear and how many. Bungie you made a good game.   • I disagree with almost the whole damn post. No I will not share your ideas. No I wont make it more known to bungie. I tend to have a pretty low burning temper but you're a -blam!-. A child who wants this game to be as easy as your mom. Get the -blam!- outta here.

      • I couldn't agree more about the desire for an increased Fireteam size. I (somewhat) understand the 3-player limit for Strikes but Exploring should be almost as big as you want. Why is it okay for me (and my 2 friends) to roam around Old Russia with 3 or 4 other randoms but not with a Fireteam made up of the same total amount of players (i.e. 6)? The fact that this has been a discussion before the Beta (and Alpha) was even released indicates there is much concern in the community: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/64927990/0/0/1

        • Customizable ghost. Voice, Shell, Colors, and when you pop it out to see your destination it should keep the little bubbles out for you to follow so I don't have to keep popping it out every do many feet.

            [b]6 WAYS TO IMPROVE DESTINY[/b] [b]1. Sparrow/Ship Racing -[/b] I mean this one is a no brainer. First one to make it to the end WINS. [u]A. Normal Racing:[/u] Reach the finish line (Top 3) [u]B. War Racing: [/u]First one to reach the finish line ALIVE wins. Weapons & Super Charge Enabled. [u]C. Keep Away Mode: [/u]6v6 Each team goes for the Ghost at the center of the map. Once equipped with the Ghost , that team will hold it as long as possible while being chased by Sparrows before the time ends (Vehicle based Oddball). [b] 2. More 3rd Person Missions & Modes –[/b] After I played the mission on the Moon where you get to use the sword in 3rd person – I was dying for more. We need 3rd person multiplayer. Maybe 6v6 or 3v3 team death match . Another idea I had was to incorporate 3rd person as a “Killstreak” Get 10 kills/row in the Crucible to unlock the Sword for 30 seconds, etc. [b] 3. Explore More Areas in the Tower –[/b] The Tower is opened and a great place to collect your thoughts, new weapons, and other items before your next journey, but after the 20 minutes of exploring the area I found that the Tower is kinda small for a game this size. Maybe later on Bungie could allow us to explore deeper within the Tower. More rooms/loot, shops, side quests. More community matches/events..**Community sports?** lol. [b]4. More Planetary Exploration –[/b] This is also a no brainer. Hoping the future Destiny DLC will allow us access to more planets, but I would like to see us discover how to control the VEX Hyper Traveling and explore fictional Alien planets. Also would love to see some missions that take place on enemy spaceships. [b]5. Hive Survival Mode: [/b]Well we all know that COD Zombies was a HUGE hit & I still play it from time to time, so it would make perfect sense to have a WAVE based mode where you have to fight through unlimited amount of Hive enemies till your Fireteam finally dies. Ammo will be dropped like usual and super charge will be enabled. [b]6. More Story –[/b] I was kinda disappointed on the amount of story detail in Destiny. Beautiful design = beautiful story – well that’s what I was hoping for. Many reviews will tell you that the story is sortof slow and lacks action, suspense, and understanding *** this is true. You would think after of years on creating this game they would have more to say.

            • what about the disappearing ships...everytime I switch carachters my ships disappears and all i see is sky, or spacey clouds with rocket noises....oh - and dont even get me started on having to reboot just to get my chat to work if someone invites me to thier fireteam

                  • Dude -blam!- this game, not playing again until they fix this shit. 7 vengard strikes last night back to back trying my hardest to pass lv24 NOTHING I was playing on the hardest difficulty possible! Why would I want to play another match?

                  • I think pvp has great potential, there are good similarities with Halo gunplay, superb map design, convincing pacing. Shootings could have cool depth, if only auto-rifles were not soo overpowered. Because *every* gun conflict becomes indiscriminate hail of bullets. Where is lateral strafe importance? Headshot strategic superiority? Scout rifles are unnecessary, even if i sign headshot every shot, because is sufficient point the auto-rifles and just pull the trigger for a few moments. I think this stuff kills the depth of the game. Think at Halo, where if you are a good player and a generic player shoot you with AR, you can always reverse the clash with main weapon (BR, DMR). It means gratification, adequate reward for skill. Feature that a main weapon should have. I hope auto-rifles will be weakened.

                      I certainly feel that the controls need looking at, they feel a little sluggish compared to other games. The maximum stick sensitivity needs increasing slightly, especially on the X-axis.

                    • I am kind of disappointed by the game so far my main impression is that the game feels too much arcade , frenetic and with a confusing story. But what most disappoints me its the arcade feel due to the way combat is handled. The impossibility to rise from ground the enemy weapons , the semy fantasy autoregenerating weapons , the enemies disappearing in a cloud of dust , the numbers popping up when you hit them , its all too much arcade and much different from halo realism. And yes I prefer how the combat was handled in halo because you had limited sources of weapons, the enemies where well characterized and not confusingly placed together everywhere to have something to shoot at without a defined reason .... And the thing that each companion gets different revenues on killing enemies or ending levels.... Its just too much Arcade really ....

                      • How about a raid finder? I know a few people in real life who doesn't commit to large groups every week just to run content..I think they have been spoiled by WoW's raid finder ^.^

                        • To your number 5, you do realize everyone gets their own loot? Just cause you got an engram doesnt mean that your buddies did too. The loot is not shared, everyone gets their own loot separate.

                          • My opinion on what Bungie should do to make the game better (My opinion, this is what I WOULD LIKE, im just stating my opinion publically) Add a trading mechanism but not allow trading with Exotic gear. This is to allow a player to become strong and then finally feel powerful enough and ready to wield the best gear in the game, not just be given it from a friend and ruin the point of the game. Private Matches in the crucible. I want these so you can practice fight against your friends and learn tactics and strategies, as well as test new gear out against your friends and learn how many bullets it takes to kill someone with your gun, etc. 6 friends in one fireteam. I hate having only me and 2 others, i felt bad kicking 3 others out after crucible. Besides, we need a whole group of 6 FRIENDS for RAIDS so why not do the same for story and strikes? Have more glimmer drop from enemies in PvE. The only way i knew i could get glimmer was by grinding chests or playing the crucible. Dont have Crucible be the main highlight of Destiny. This is a game where its supposed to have a rich story and be able to share experiences with your friends and beating things that were not able to be beaten before, not rage and get your try hard pants on and throw your controller at the screen because you got quickscoped. How this could be countered is by having the best and better gear be in raids and PvE to allow a constant flow of people experiencing the story. And for those who dont want to play crucible, have the material exchanges at the quartermasters be a little greater so the Strictly PvE players can get those Crucible Weapons and gear for playing the same amount of time. In game chat box. Ive come across times in the beta where i had no one to play with so i walk up to people in the tower and have to message them to ask nicely if i can join their fireteam. It would be more simple if we could even have at least preset text things saying like: May I join you fireteam? Yes No etc. This would simplify things and create more interaction within the tower and allow the players to never be alone.

                              • TrueReclaimer you really need to grow up. I read your post and a few things I agreed with, others I didn't. Then I read another guys comment where he outlines why some of your ideas won't work in a mature and respectful manner. So what do you do? You immediately get defensive calling him names and telling him to leave your thread. Honestly that kind of behavior is childish, pathetic, and is of no help to these forums. If you believe in your ideas then have a mature counter argument. Going off like that takes all credibility away from your previous arguments in most readers eyes.
