This is a small annoyance, but still something I'd love to see changed: Currently when a mission is finished, you automatically return to orbit. If you want to return to the tower (to identify an item you just got, for example), you have to click "Select Destination", choose The Tower, and then select "Depart" or whatever it says. That's 3 buttons click, and then a second loading screen to sit through.
It would be FANTASTIC to include an option on the mission summary screen to return directly to The Tower rather than have to go through the orbit UI every time.
I've been finding myself returning to The Tower nearly every time I finish a mission, so this would be really nice to see and super convenient.

I'll throw my two cents in here to, anything that reduces loads times in games is a good thing.
-
In addition to this, I would suggest adding a button to the Ghost menu (perhaps square) that lets you return to the tower.

Yes, while the ship loading system is a nice touch it can get old fairly quickly. I'm sure it'll be better when people have their own, hopefully customizable, ships.
-
Not to mention when I finish a story mission, why do I have to fly all the way into orbit just to start the next mission the literally takes me to the same exact place I was at when the last mission ended?

Spot on!

Yes! This would be a great addition. A one button jump to the tower.

This would be awesome.

Agree as well

I was gonna post the same thing. I completely agree. The depart bit is unnecessary. I want to depart the second I click on a location on the map. If I want to wait, I'll wait on the map or before I open it.
