I see...I appreciate you for sharing that with me. You are not whining, you posted a very well thought out grievance concerning the future of Bungie's community. I absolutely agree with all of your points and I can not find a single fallacy or a hint of bias. Alright, with that out of the way. I'll admit that I've had a rather poor history with Microsoft products, so if any bias shows, feel free to address it. I'll need to work that out of my system. But as you so aptly stated, this isn't about Microsoft, this is about the Bungie family. Key word...FAMILY. I've always believed that a true family would find a way to resolve an issue for everyone equally, no child left behind. Well I'll have you know that I still have hope for that notion, even after all that's happened. Because if it were any other company's community, no one would care, let alone fight for its ideals. So yeah, I'll eat my words from the other threads. For I know first-hand that picking favorites to sell consoles never has and never will lead to a healthy environment to nurture a multi-platform gaming community, especially if its between PlayStation and Xbox. I've had quite the experience with console favoritism on the mecha franchise Armored Core. However, one of the main differences is that AC was a Japanese game and the American community had absolutely no method to communicate directly with From Software. The point of the matter is that the entire community has to catch this problem early before it sprouts roots, [u]it cannot and must not be ignored.[/u] PlayStation and Xbox players alike, this concerns all of us. This isn't about previous titles or which console has more "power," this is about a community...hell a culture, that is now on the verge of collapse. I now realize that without a solid community Destiny will undoubtedly fail, no matter how good the game is. Its happened to many upcoming franchises before, it'll most certainly happen again if action isn't taken to prevent it. All I want is for Destiny to succeed, for it to become the game-changer many like myself hoped it would. I was too young to contribute at the start of Halo's legacy, so I saw this as my chance. I guess I wanted it to happen so badly that I disregarded all the hard work and dedication that inspired me to become a Bungie fan in the first place.
